Incredible way to see Kyoto
Our guide Mayumi was incredible! She was so personable and thoughtful about sharing Kyoto with us. The night tour was such a unique way to see the city - with a very small group, great sake in hand, no crowds, and gorgeous Sakura all lit up! We learned so much and it made everything more meaningful. I highly recommend this experience!

Amazing local food & drink tour
We had a fantastic evening with Shumpei. It was great being taken around to the best food and drink spots by a local guide, who also adjusted the itinerary based on our preferences. We visited 2 izakayas and a whiskey bar, all of which we really enjoyed. We also loved chatting to Shumpei and learning more about various aspects of Japanese culture. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto looking for an evening filled with tasty food and great conversation.

Wow! I went in blind not...
Wow! I went in blind not expecting anything and the show blew me away! The production value and talent was top notch. Projections, a massive turntable, visual effects, audience participation (limited), and stellar choreography interacting with all of them. Most Broadway shows can’t even get to this level of production and the theater only has like eight rows of seats. Charming and visually stunning. What a beautiful show. Definitely go see it if you have 90 minutes free when you’re in Kyoto.

A Fantastic Tour with Hidden Gems – Ask for Yuki!
I can’t recommend this walking food tour of Nishiki Market enough! It was the perfect way to explore the market beyond just the main stalls. We tried a great variety of different snacks, and the tour took us to several hidden gems that I definitely would have overlooked if I were just wandering around as a tourist. Our guide, Yuki, was the highlight of the experience. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing so much insight into the food and culture. It was quite cold during our walk, and Yuki was thoughtful enough to bring hand warmers for us—such a kind touch that made a huge difference! The tour finished with a sit-down meal that had a bunch of different options to try, which was pretty amazing and a great way to end the day. I ordered steamed dumplings and they were amazing. If you want to see the best of Nishiki Market, definitely book this tour!
