Top Kuta Fun & Games

Kuta becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you. The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Dharmayana Temple, Masceti Temple, Kuta Beach and Pura Segara. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up. Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Kuta.

Surfing is a great traveling activity but notoriously difficult to pick up for newcomers to the sport. This very affordable, small-group surf lesson is designed for beginners, safely covering the basics in a relaxed and friendly environment, sending travelers well on their way to catch their first waves. This experience includes an online surf lesson, and the use of surfboards, shirts, lockers, and showers.

Get your adrenaline pumping with a water sport experience of epic proportions. Take to the skies on a parasailing adventure, and see Bali from above in all its lush green glory. Then jet ski out into the bay, enjoying the rush of speed and the views of the beaches. Hop on a banana boat for more water-based fun, and a donut boat adds to the bouncy action.

If you’ve always wanted to learn to surf, Kuta is a great place to do it. During a private two-hour lesson you’ll learn some surfing theory and safety tips, practice on dry land, and then move into the ocean. Spend about 45 minutes paddling, catching waves, and standing on your board. At the end of the lesson you’ll be ready to practice on your own.
