Amazing Symi

The transfer is done by comfortable buses. The boat is comfortable and well-equipped, clean. The staff is informative, precise organization. I got exactly what I expected. Symi was amazing, very good tour.

Great day on the Water!

We were a family of 15 so this turned into a true private yacht trip! We were treated like royalty by the crew. The boat was clean and well prepared for our day trip. Not only were we cared for with food and drink but the crew was so knowledgeable about the area we also had private tour guides!

Well worth going

Well managed logistics, especially since the boat from Rhodes to Symi was brimming with People. Could have spent more time in Panormitis, rather rushed though the church, but pleasant nonetheless (and had time to light a candle). St George’s Bay is just a sail through. To see it, sit on top, port side. Spent longer than needed in Yailos. Plenty of time, though, for an excellent lunch and an interesting demonstration about sea sponges. Well worth going.

Overall a good trip, enjoyed the high speed boat, really comfortable seats.

Very good and enjoyable trip. Panoramas Monastery was a beautiful building, obviously if you are of Greek Orthodox Faith you would appreciate it more. Symi Island is lovely with it’s colourful houses and buildings. Maybe a half hour too long if you weren’t going to have lunch.

Type of trip - without a guide

Trip to the island was very enjoyable. I used the transport proposed by the office. The driver was on time waiting for us and after the tour to take us to the hotel. Type of trip - without a guide. An element not included in the offer is the possibility of swimming during the cruise around the bay, the ship stops for about 30 minutes. I recommend bringing a swimsuit!

The tour guide was very...

The tour guide was very informative and friendly, providing clear instructions throughout the day. Unfortunately the weather was not great and the sea was very choppy, so the trip to the monastery was cancelled. Hence the tour was basically a return trip to Symi from Rhodes. Symi was very pretty and we were given 3 hours free time to explore with an optional 1-hour guided tour by the tour guide. We opted to skip the guided tour and wandered round the town on our own. If we had gotten to see the monastery as well, then the tour would have been worth the money - unfortunately (due to no fault of the tour provider), we did end up paying a lot for what was essentially a return ferry to Symi. We still had a lovely time and kudos to the tour guide for keeping us informed of the situation with the weather.

The island is beautiful...

The island is beautiful and a must see, however it is unbearably hot and there is no shade whatsoever. I would advise not doing the tour and just getting a fast boat to the island and going swimming. Standing in the boiling heat with no shade listening to a tour guide is uncomfortable, although it is important to add our tour guide was lovely. The trip to the island took a lot longer than I thought, I would advise sitting outside so you can get a breeze whilst on the boat. Although the boat had air con inside, you wouldn’t have noticed as it was so hot.
