Korčula Island is famous for its white wines. This tour is intended for wine lovers looking for an authentic and local experience. Two grapes indigenous to Korčula are Grk and Pošip (Poship). The village of Lumbarda is known for Grk wines, while villages in the island's interior are known for Pošip ones. Both grapes have a lot to offer and the wines are mostly compared to Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. This tour gives you a chance to compare both grapes and make your own opinion. Short scenic drives between Korčula, Lumbarda and Žrnovo will give you a chance to see more of the island, complementing your stay in Korčula Town. On the way back to Korčula, we will stop at a view point above the town. You will almost be able to touch the red roofs of a 1000-year-old town.

Departure from Korcula Town After a stunning 25min drive, and a few viewpoint stops, you will arrive at the village of Smokvica home to the Posip grape variety. Presentation and tasting of 6 wines by the winery. We would then head to an OPG farm, where they produce their own HOney, Gin and Olive oil. You will get a presentation by the owner himself and a tasting of all the amazing products. Head through the vineyards of Lumbarda Greeting by the owner of a small family owned winery, producers of the very rare Grk white wine. Enjoy 3 wines and some local delicacies in picturesque Croatian scenery. Return to Korcula This tour includes all tastings, transport and guidance.
