Schedule: 8:00 Gather at Myohoji Temple Uchiwa-Daiko (Japanese drum) Experience – Play the taiko while chanting; energizes mind and body. One-Character Sutra Copying (Shakyo) – Transcribe one character from a Buddhist scripture. Sutra & Incense Experience – Burn incense while the monk prays for your health and safety.
