Perfect !
We 100% recommend this tour! Banele, our guide, was perfect; his explanations were very clear, he was very professional, and we truly enjoyed our visit to Soweto. Thank you for everything!!

Soweto behind the scenes
Thomas was a wonderful guide and safe driver. He knew all about Soweto and African history. He knew all the best places for pictures and souvenirs. We loved meeting some of the locals. We walked through the streets of a tin house village and visited a local pre school. The people are very friendly.

It was a very good tour. ...
It was a very good tour. Thabang was knowledgeable and his detailed knowledge and feel for Soweto shown through in this tour. The only negative was the surprise that I needed to pay extra for airport pickup when I specified this from the beginning of the booking.

Full day, Johannesburg and Soweto sightseeing tour
I highly recommend this full day tour. The tour guide Mo was very thorough explaining all the history and details that you needed to know about the history of South Africa which made the experience of visiting Soweto ,Constitution Hill, and the apartheid
Museum a more valuable experience.

Great!
Tebogo from Nukli's provided us a great experience around Soweto's most iconic spots. There's nothing like learning from a local one which has deep roots with the place. Great!

Good experience in an iconic South African township
A truly interesting tour. Sibongile, our guide, gave us a wealth of information about life in Soweto. The tour is done on foot and by local bush taxi, which allows you to really immerse yourself in the neighborhood and meet the people who live there. I was surprised that day to see other Westerners mainly around Mandela's house or the Hector Peterson Memorial. The city is much more than just those two sites. The people are welcoming, and there's nothing to be afraid of.

Interesting Johannesburg history tour
Interesting to learn Johannesburg’s history, the creation of Soweto and student protests resulting in deaths including young Hector Pietersen.

The perfect guide!
Khutsu was the most excellent travel guide. He was well rehearsed in giving all the information a tourist would want to hear during the journey and proceeded to answer all our questions. One of the best guides i have ever had - perfect diction and volume. Was a great way to see the Soweto and Apartheid Museum.

See Johannesburg
We certainly learned a lot about apartheid and the chaos surrounding ending it. After visiting many of the key sites, we had a buffet lunch in Soweto. Definitely a unique environment. However, be prepared for the grittiness of Johannesburg (unlike Capetown). It's a poorer city with many challenges.

Another amazing day in South Africa!
Today was an amazing day with Tinyiko! He was the perfect storyteller, historian, and comedian all at once! His knowledge of South Africa, especially Johannesburg and Soweto, was tremendous. We felt so lucky to be in his hands for the day.

Johannesburg, Soweto, Apartheid museum
Great tour of parts of Johannesburg and Soweto I could never have found on my own. Joseph from Jeff tours was very knowledgeable and informative and knew all the short cuts when we clashed with the G20 preparations. The Apartheid museum is very good and you could probably spend all day there but 2 hours was enough to get some great knowledge of what went on under apartheid.
