Top Isola d'Elba Adventure Tours in 2026

Bike tour of 2 hours, divided equally between bike ride and tasting. Departure at 16.00 and arrival in the cellar at 17.00 (a meeting time is required about 20' before). Explore the wildest part of the Island of Elba: a 450-hectare estate spread over a vast promontory (Monte Calamita) to the southeast. Enjoy an excursion aboard a top-of-the-range e-mtb, which will allow us to ride dirt roads in greater safety. The FCI (Italian cycling federation) MTB guide will give you insights both before and during the ride. Get excited during the breaks in panoramic points overlooking the sea: you will visit cliffs overlooking the sea, natural lakes and ancient pine forests immersed in the Mediterranean scrub. You will cross one of the highest vineyards on the Island of Elba. After the tour, relax with an aperitif with Tenuta delle Ripalte wines and enjoy a moment of relaxation with wine and snacks, observing the sea from a privileged point of view: the roof of a Design Cellar.

Overall 2h bike tour: The departure time varies from 6:20 PM to 7:30 PM depending on the season. An experience full of 'Good Vibes'. The energy of the sunset and the return to twilight. The unspoiled nature, the non-existent traffic (we are in the middle of Mount Calamita with the 1st country, Capoliveri, 7km away on a dirt road), will make the whole thing truly special. The tour will take place on Monte Calamita and then head, for bikers with a minimum of experience, towards Innamorata beach. Technically easy but unpaved, which therefore requires a minimum of bike experience. Return to twilight, turning on the light on the bike (if needed), towards the starting point (Elba MTB Capoliveri, in the center of the Tenuta delle Ripalte) via a dirt road of about 30 minutes. Possibility, after the tour, of eating something at the bar or restaurant of the Tenuta delle Ripalte facility.

Swap the crowds at Marina di Campo for the tranquillity of the open water on this small-group excursion on a canoe or stand-up paddle board. Follow your guide past rocky cliffs with views towards nearby Giglio and Montecristo, and enjoy a short swim stop at Ischia cove before arriving at the wild Fonza Beach.

DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER AND MARINE CONDITIONS, THE GUIDE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE AT THE TIME OF THE EXCURSION WHETHER TO TAKE THE TOUR TO "GALENZANA" OR "FONZA" (ANOTHER TOUR OPTION ORGANIZED BY US). If you want to experience a unique active holiday you must be part of one of the excursions on the Island of Elba by SUP and CANOE. You will live an unforgettable experience. The departure of the excursion is from the village of Capoliveri, one of the oldest on Elba. We will drive along the scenic road that leads from the town to the mining area, then detour and descend near the Innamorata beach, famous for the legend of the same name. Once upon a time, iron ore arrived here, via a network of tracks, which was loaded onto the boats that transported it to the blast furnaces. We will follow the path of the old railway, of which today little more than a path remains, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, between Ginestre and rosemary. Panoramic views of the sea and suggestive scenery.

Once the tour is booked, you can go to the rental point to pick up the bicycles and start the experience with virtual navigation. The e-bike loop tour starts from Capoliveri and measures about 25 km with 520 m of positive elevation gain: medium level. The route alternates paved roads, trails, secondary roads, and a short singletrack, with regular climbs and dirt sections that require a minimum of Guide confidence. Leaving the village, the path crosses the promontory of Monte Calamita between Mediterranean scrub and views of the sea, with views of the bays and the hills of eastern Elba. The heart of the itinerary is the Capoliveri Mines area, characterized by iron-rich rocks, terraces, and old mining facilities. The contrast between the red of the earth, the green of the vegetation, and the blue of the sea makes this scene particularly evocative. The return follows the eastern side of the promontory up to Capoliveri.
