Mai Chau Tours and Tickets

Stunning scenery. Rainy season, so we couldn't do everything as planned, but the guide did a good job of making alternative plans.

Our tour to Mai Chau was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Mr. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the day! We had wonderful conversations over delicious food once making it to the village! We were so grateful for our stop midway to visit a little village alongside the road and had beautiful views while eating corn and sticky rice! The drive was about 3.5 hours away and the car was very comfortable! It was a laid back day and we were happy to have had it booked privately. We would go again!

I recently embarked on a trek through Mai Chau and the Phu Luong Nature Reserve, and it was an absolutely splendid experience. The highlight of our adventure was undoubtedly the excellent guidance of Chi, who was outstanding both as a person and a professional. Her warmth and expertise made our trek truly special, and we are deeply grateful to her. The trek itself was wonderfully organized, with every meal offered at excellent restaurants featuring a wide assortment of delicious dishes. Each day brought new activities, all of which were well-planned and thoroughly enjoyable. We were looking for a trek that would allow us to appreciate the magnificent scenery of Mai Chau and Phu Luong, and this trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Chi's dedication and passion for her work shone through every step of the way, enhancing our appreciation of the beautiful landscapes and local culture. Thanks to her, we will carry memories of this trek for many years to come, with a secret hope to return one day. Tom was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind. Tom and the villagers went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The bus was extremely comfortable, and made the 3 hour drive from Hanoi easy. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and they accommodated our groups many food allergies. On the bike tour we stopped off at a local villagers shop to learn fabric weaving and rode through rice fields, corn fields, and markets. Since this is a day trip we only got to see one area of Mai Chau, but if you have a couple of days to spare I would recommend stay more days if possible! Thank you for making our trip memorable and fun!

We really enjoyed the trip. What makes this trip more personal is that it is organized with one group of people (unlike other trips we experience in Vietnam), hence there is a chance to make new friends. The sceneries are beautiful and the tour guide we had felt really passionate about his country. The accommodations was good. As both Ba Be lake and Ban Gioc waterfall are a decent distance away from Ha Noi the region is not so popular among tourists, which means it maintains its uniqueness.
