You will travel in a small transit van …nice if you sit by a window, but if you sit in the middle you can barely see the buildings- would be nice if the ceiling was glass. John/Giancarlo was very nice and personal, and added a few stops spontaneously as we had time.

Great Historical Tour

Our tour guide Anna gave us one of the most interesting historical tours we've experienced. She was such a clear, succinct speaker. She provided great context for my teen sons, who were not knowlegeable about this unfortunate event in history. We stopped along the key locations involved on the day of JFKs assassination. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Dallas.

Very good tour, wonderful places

A very positive experience, and everything was easy: from booking to finding the meeting point. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of interesting information during the visit. I took the guided tour with my children, aged 13 and 17, who are not native English speakers, but it was still easy for them to follow the guide and listen to his explanations. Wonderful places.

Highly recommend booking a private tour to explore Istanbul! Sila was the guide for my wife and I and she was fantastic! She was informative, personable, and went out of her way for to give great recommendations. Having her to skip the lines was also huge value add that we weren’t expecting. We saw Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Museum, Basílica Cistern, and Grand Bazaar. Highlights were going to a locals restaurant for lunch, private Turkish rug shop experience, and walking through all the shops to find the best deals. We couldn’t recommend Sila or this tour enough!!

Good tour

We had a private guided tour of Istanbul with Beko and it was an excellent experience. Beko was attentive, flexible, and adjusted the itinerary throughout the day based on crowd levels. Some of the key attractions were extremely busy, however he navigated the lines efficiently and ensured we were able to access each site with minimal delay. A well-managed and highly professional tour—strongly recommended. Would recommend him as a guide.

An amazing April day in Istanbul !

We did a private full day tour with Billur. She was absolutely amazing! The day was a mix of sunshine and rain, but some how Billur managed the tour so only a few raindrops fell when we were outside🤣 Billur made sure we were well taken care of. She picked us up at our hotel, and at the end of our tour when our driver got stuck in traffic and could not meet up to take us back to the hotel, Billur jumped in a cab with us and made sure we got back to our hotel. Exhausted for sure, but so well taken care of. I know each tour guide is different, but when you get the right one, it is amazing ! We saw almost every major attraction, and still had time to enjoy a relaxing lunch at The Pudding Shop Lale Restaurant! Shout out to the chefs there as well, they really spoiled us! We saw so many amazing places, learned so much history, and had an all around lovely day!

The cruise to the islands gave you a beautiful view of the seas and sights of Istanbul Türkiye. The Princes Island is full of history and a must to walk around or opt to cycle around the Island. The beach looks beautiful but unfortunately too cold in early April. Very peaceful island compared to Istanbul. Hamez was a knowledgeable tour guide and accommodating to meet your expectations.

Kenan was a great guide, but...

Kenan was a fantastic guide. He was well informed about all the historical elements we viewed, plenty of interesting stories. Loads of facts and dates. He was also very funny. He was extremely useful in helping us figure out the do's and dont's of the city and cultures. This part was all fantastic! Only issue is the last two experiences attended were very heavy sales pitches. You get to view a person making a rug by hand and the history of this ancient art, which is all beautiful and wonderful. Then they take you to a seperate room where they offer you drinks and try to sell you a rug. Similar, but much less pushy, is the pottery place. You watch a master create a small piece on a foot kick pottery wheel, then they let you try which is super fun. They talk about the history and materials used in their cultures pottery. Then they show you around the sales floor and try to convince you to buy their wares, but not nearly as pushy as the rug guys. But I am from the upper Midwest in USA and anyone who talks to me in a store feels pushy to me, so perhaps to other folks they weren't pushy. If you like to haggle prices, Istanbul is your town. Everyone haggles.

What an amazing day we had with Renan in Istanbul! It was a rainy, dreary day but Renan brought some sunshine with her pleasant personality. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. She was informative and thorough. We saw the palace, blue mosque and the grand bazaar. She helped us navigate it all and we really felt like we learned a lot about Istanbul as well as the culture.
