Sarapiqui River Class 3-4 whitewater rafting
We had fantastic morning of white water rafting and a nice meal included. The drive of about an hour to and from La Fortuna was comfortable. The guides were great and included safety kayakers which I’ve never seen before. The rafting was about two hours of 3-4 level rapids with short floats between and a couple of stops for swimming and fresh fruit. It was quite enjoyable!

5⭐ Experience!
We had such an amazing experience! First of all, Oso was the best! He spoke beautiful English and Spanish and made sure all instructions were understood. The guides were fun and very knowledgeable. They helped us maneuver the rapids and got us safely back! I would HIGHLY recommend this group for your rafting needs!!

Incredible experience!...
Incredible experience! Praulio was hilarious and kept the group safe and entertained. Jorge was our boat’s guide and he was amazing— cuing us on when to paddle, lean in or get down. We had delicious fruit halfway through the trip and enjoyed the views. My son and his friend had never been rafting before but they had no issues navigating the class 3/4 rapids. 10000/10 would do again!

Fabulous river experience!
This was a unique and relaxing tour. The river and nature were stunning. We saw so many birds and animals. It was raining for a bit and it didn’t matter at all. Highly recommend!

Amazing time!
Ryan Chesky was our guide and he was amazing! He had us laughing and enjoying ourselves even as we gripped those paddles for our lives! This was hands down our favorite experience of our 10 days in Costa Rica and Arenal Rafting is the best! PURA VIDA!

Beautiful tour
Animals in the wild on the river cruise and on the side of the road were incredible - quati, crocodiles, howler monkeys, toucans, iguanas, Jesus Christ lizard, many birds, and more. La Paz Waterfall Park is beautiful and you can see most of the animals of Costa Rica.

Highly Recommend for Families
We have done this excursion pre-kids and had to do it again. It’s a blast! However, now with a 10 and 12 year old safety was more of a concern. With recent heavy rain, I was a little anxious if this would be too much or risky. The guides definitely took safety as the number 1 priority. They moved us from the original river and they monitored the alternate river. They monitored the water and decided better safe than sorry.
So families out there, just know that they will keep you safe! If the weather doesn’t behave, they will help coordinate options for you. The trip continued and kids had a great time!

Such a fun experience....
Such a fun experience. Highly recommend. I appreciated the break with the pineapple and watermelon freshly cut up. Lunch provided was also very good!

Unforgettable experience
First time in Costa Rica and love trying new adventures. David and Eric were excellent guides who were informative, supportive, embodied a Pura Vida mentality, and also prioritized safety. We had such an amazingly fun time and enjoyed seeing many birds and animals between going through the rapids. Unforgettable experience!
