Sarapiqui River Class 3-4 whitewater rafting
We had fantastic morning of white water rafting and a nice meal included. The drive of about an hour to and from La Fortuna was comfortable. The guides were great and included safety kayakers which I’ve never seen before. The rafting was about two hours of 3-4 level rapids with short floats between and a couple of stops for swimming and fresh fruit. It was quite enjoyable!

5⭐ Experience!
We had such an amazing experience! First of all, Oso was the best! He spoke beautiful English and Spanish and made sure all instructions were understood. The guides were fun and very knowledgeable. They helped us maneuver the rapids and got us safely back! I would HIGHLY recommend this group for your rafting needs!!

Incredible experience!...
Incredible experience! Praulio was hilarious and kept the group safe and entertained. Jorge was our boat’s guide and he was amazing— cuing us on when to paddle, lean in or get down. We had delicious fruit halfway through the trip and enjoyed the views. My son and his friend had never been rafting before but they had no issues navigating the class 3/4 rapids. 10000/10 would do again!

  • Plan to get wet if you’re joining a whitewater tour, and consider wearing a swimsuit under your clothes.

  • Choose synthetic clothing over cotton, which can be cold when wet.

  • Consider bringing a strap to secure your sunglasses.

  • Rafting and kayak tours generally require sneakers or sandals with ankle straps (no flip-flops).
