Good Trip
I traveled with my family, but I was under a different booking as I was a solo traveler. Well organize, friendly guides.. The one night accommodation was a nice hotel in the central of town. They gave us a lot of time at the Troy Museum, more than we needed. Nice, comfortable, clean mini bus.

A journey through history
Everything was well planned, and there was clear communication throughout. Our tour guide was really great and explained everything in detail.

Go by all means
Greatest tour I ever been on. Would go back. In depth tour of what happened. More casualties at Gallipoli than at Normandy

Great experience!
Everything was great. The tour guide knew a lot. Great experience. Totally worth it. To me, it was a dream come true, since I am a big fan of Troy.

ANZAC cove and Troy
Good communication, well organized. People spoke good english and we could understand them easily. Nice comfortable bus.
Offered to help us find a grave if we knew anyone buried there.
We stayed in a nice Canakkale hotel in the centre of town which gave us breakfast.

5 Star.
A bucket list trip that met all expectations! Fantastic guides- all three. So knowledgeable and fun. Crowded House Tours- you were brilliant in all respects. Congratulations on running such an efficient operation with lovely people. Made my dream trip everything I had hoped it would be, and more.

Troy in context with Turkish insights
Long drive (but our driver Murat was so good) but good views, car ferry ride, excellent tour of the Troy ruins with great historical context from our guide Omer, and good museum right next to the site. Excellent conversations and short naps.

Dardanelles: from 1 straight to the other .
It seemed a bit hectic all the changes of vehicles , but it was actually very well planned, and they were very responsible, carefully checking who went where.
Personally I liked a lot crossing the Dardanelles.
Lunch was good; better yet with close feline companionship ( this is Türkiye!).
At Troy/ Truva/Troia ( you choose ) the guide was very thorough. A little tiresome to stand in the sun, listening, but young people probably didn't care.
Beautiful views of Marmara sea & Dardanelles.

Great Experience
We had an incredible 2-day experience, starting with a 6:30 AM pickup from Istanbul. We traveled on a minibus (17 passengers in a 20-seater), with a 45-minute stop for coffee at a gas station about 2.5 hours into the journey. After another 2.5 hours, we arrived at our starting point, checked in, and had lunch before heading to Gallipoli around 12:30 PM.
While not far distance-wise, the Gallipoli tour lasted 3 hours, and offered a look at the many battlefields and cemeteries. It was a moving, especially for the Australians in our group. The highlight was definitely our guide, Chuck. He possessed incredible historical knowledge, balancing detailed history with independent time. He read the group well and added warm-hearted insights throughout.
We arrived back at the check-in point around 5 PM and took the ferry over to Asia, where we had from 5:30 PM until 12:30 PM the next day to explore on our own. Our hotel, the Artur, was better than expected and in a perfect location. The only minor improvement would be the breakfast, which was somewhat lackluster (though perhaps just cultural).
At 12:30 PM on the second day, we met our next guide for the tour of Troy. I loved his storytelling, like Chuck, he found the right balance and provided fascinating theories. I can best describe exploring Troy as being like visiting Pompeii and learning history through the excavations. This tour felt shorter but was still well worth it.
We left around 3:30 PM to catch the ferry back, boarded the bus to Istanbul, took a 30-minute break, and returned to our hotel around 8:30 PM. Overall, this was an excellent "off the beaten path" excursion. While you could do it on your own, the tour company handled every detail.

Worthwhile for the convenience of pick up & drop off from IST hotels, & the small group size for the 2 tours.
The road travel was boring in that the driver had no PA system to speak to the customers & there was no seat back information sheets in times, breaks etc.
The road trip meal breaks only had menus in Turkish, so most of my vehicle did not order from the buffet.

Bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water; there’s very little shade at the site.
Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes; the path can be rocky and slippery at points.
Roman gladiator costumes and a chariot are available for visitors who feel like dressing up and having photos taken.
Day trips from Istanbul can last upwards of 14 hours.
