Umm Qais (Gadara) Tours and Tickets

What a great day with Mohammad! He gave us a lot of background about Jordan during our drive and arranged a great guide for us at Jerash. The car was modern, clean, and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend for anyone interested in a day seeing the sights of northern Jordan.

An incredible day trip. Jerash is phenomenal and Umm Qais/Al Joun are great warm ups. Shadi, our driver, was helpful, courteous and very informative. This would have been a stressful drive and difficult day if we had done it ourselves but he made it an easy, memorable day! Hugely recommend the tour and Shadi if you’re on the fence.

I had an excellent day with Sultan. He was a great driver and always there when I completed the visits.

Bardaghawi was great! Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend visiting Jerash. It was absolutely beautiful and the highlight of the day for me. Castle Ajloun was pretty neat and a fun place to spend an hour or so. As for Uum Qais, I found it pretty underwhelming by comparison, though the poor weather didn't help. Overall, however, this was a very nice day trip. Jerash is certainly worthwhile, and Bardaghawi was very pleasant and helpful.

Saed contacted us prior to our excursion to give us details about pick up etc. He picked us up right on time and drove us to Um Qais first given the times. It was so much more than I expected and a really long walk through old ancient ruins. We could have arranged a guide (would need cash for) but we opted to do it ourselves. Saed always said "this should take around x minutes/hours to visit and meet me here when you are done" He also was clear that we could take more time if needed, but we wanted to be on time to make sure that we could visit all 3 sites, which didn't disappoint. It was quite windy for our visits but the sun warmed us and it felt like Scottish summer! We next visited Ajloun castle, a crusader's castle, that had significance for christians and muslims. From both sites, you could see the Syrian border, which was picturesque. Next, we visited Jerash and had opted for the guide, which was worth it! This reminded me of our visit to Ephesus, with still so much to find but so much to see that is still standing. Jerash was our favourite site, and I highly recommend seeing it! Lunch was fine, it had a great view from the terrace.

The trip commenced as per schedule. Driver Mr.Ahmed Habibi was punctual and picked us up from our place well on time. He was soft spoken and drove around to all the listed places safely. Not only that, he also offered refreshments time to time. Time spent at each place was adequate. Overall, We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this tour to everyone.

All the sites were fascinating! I especially loved the Jerash and imaging life in that era. Also loved the drive to the northern part of Jordan.

This tour was amazing and organized. I would recommend this tour for those who doesn't have many days to cover Jordan.
