We did this backstreet food tour the evening we arrived in Bangkok. Despite our jet lag, fatigue and pouring rain, it was the best experience to kick off our visit to Thailand. We had 3 kids (ages 8-12) in tow and everyone enjoyed it immensely! Our guides Tao and Mikey made it such a fun experience with lots of laughs! My only advice is go very hungry! We tried more than 16 street foods and not just one or 2 bites! There is no way we would have found the best places (including Michelin star spots) without our guides! They made sure we had everything we needed including an endless amount of bottled water. They seemed ready to accommodate any allergies or intolerances (as we noted from others in the group's needs) as well as making sure our kids had options of everything "mai phet" with just a little spice. The pace was great and even in the rain this was an unforgettable night! Don't hesitate...book now!

I highly recommend this tour, especially if it is your first visit to Bangkok (or Krung Thep as we learned locals call it!). Our guide, Peach, was excellent! She met us in the lobby of our hotel and we had a brief discussion to plan our day and make the most of it! We are a family of 5 (with 3 kids ages 8-12) and Peach knew just the right pace and balance of activities to keep everyone engaged all day (even despite jet lag!). She thought of every detail for our comfort from bottled water, to strategic bathroom breaks, cold towels, battery powered fans, and keeping us in the shade for stops along the way. We toured the Grand Palace, temple of the Emerald Buddha, had an amazing lunch at a nice restaurant by the river, took a long tail boat cruise, and finished with a visit to the temple of the Reclining Buddha! Peach negotiated an tuk tuk ride home for us to our hotel so all around transportation was very easy. Everything went very smoothly and was so beautiful! Peach was not only informative and knowledgeable proving a history and culture class, but she also made sure we took photos at all the best spots serving as our photographer all day! We now have tons of memories captured of all of us that we can treasure forever! Do not hesitate to book this private tour and customize it to your desired highlights! Enjoy!

The food tour was amazing, our guide Pang was so cool and explained not only the food, but the history of the neighborhoods, culture and people of Thailand. I can’t recommend it more… Pang also needs a raise because she went above and beyond to make mine and two other gentlemen’s experience a wonderful one!
