This was a pretty steep grade the way we went at least. At night, there is more challenge and it is very rocky half the way. Maybe 20% grade half the time. But well worth the sunrise! You can always rest on the way up. I’m 65 but still made it. Reminded me at times of cactus to clouds trail in Palm Springs CA.

We loved the whole experience although it was fog at the top during sunrise. Our guide Yus and driver Yoga were excellen, attentive, experienced and prompt. You have to be physically and mentally prepared for a moderate to difficult 2 hour hike to the mountain top as well as starting your journey around 2am

I made a mistake about the tour date but thanks to their earlier reminder and flexible response, I could enjoy the tour at the right date. Drivers, hiking guide, tour itself were great! Thank you so very much!

Seeing 2023 out with our biggest climb of the year, the active volcano Mount Agung 3142m! Such an amazing experience, which pushed the boundaries of what we had ever achieved before. 12 hours including breaks from start to finish. Our guide Khaki (60 years old) was fantastic, not only from his knowledge of pacing ourselves, when to stop & rest but was making jokes and engaging the whole hike. The trip down was just as tough with both our knees on the verge of giving out and all the aches & pains setting in. Our only goal was the last checkpoint, never been so happy to see a checkpoint in my life as it meant just 2.2km to go. Physically demanding but you need to try and push through to the top no matter how long it takes

My first trekking experience and i am proud of myself for reaching the summit. It is probably the most challenging thing i have done in my entire life but i am glad i did it.

A great hike which starts early during the night. The track is very steep and the views are worth it. Do not hesitate to start later if you don't want to do a 2h break waiting for the sunrise. The organization with both taxi and guide went very well. I highly recommend it.
