Spend Christmas Eve outside the city on a guided evening trip from Salzburg to Oberndorf, home of the Silent Night Chapel. Travel by coach through the Alpine foothills to reach this small riverside town without arranging transport yourself, then visit the chapel built on the site where the carol "Silent Night" was first performed. Attend a Christmas Eve mass held in multiple languages and learn about the history of the chapel before returning to Salzburg.
