Get out and enjoy a different side of Zanzibar, beyond the beaches, on a small-group quad tour. A. The pick-up time may change dependently on your hotel's location: from 30 to 10 minutes before the meeting in our base in Kiwengwa at 9:00. You will be informed accordingly. B. Please wait for the driver in the hotel's parking lot. B. Cool Zanzibar base is located by the beach between Kiwengwa Beach Resort on the right and La base kiteschool bar & restaurant on the left if you are coming by foot. C. If your hotel is in far away distances give us information of your hotel name and location.

I absolutely loved this trip for everything: 1) My guide Habib was amazing. He was very professional, helped translate whenever I asked, and guided us well. 2) The company was very accommodating. I came in 30 minutes late and they were waiting for me to start the trip. 3) The experience of visiting villages and meeting children is exceptional. If you want to do a lot of good, this is the place to go. The children will love and appreciate any help they can get. I wish I could go more on trips like that! I can certainly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! A brilliant way to explore Zanzibar off the beaten track. The guides explained everything before we went out on the quads and explained the route we would take and what we would see on our way. I'd recommend bringing some money to buy some treats for the local children in the villages and for the curios shop. Brilliant way to explore and learn about the way of life in Zanzibar. I feel they have also taken on board the negative reviews that were left be people previously and have improved the experience from this. Such as the children holding on to you when in the villages, they warn you about this before you go out. They also advise you to bring money with you but do not force you to buy anything for the children.

We had a phenomenal experience on this tour! The landscape is absolutely beautiful, so it was a very enjoyable ride for that reason. On top of that, you get to learn about the way of life in Zanzibar. One of our guides, Suleman, has deep knowledge of the island and how it operates. He encouraged us to ask questions and answered them with helpful and interesting insights. Due to the small group setting, we were able to have a great ongoing dialogue and dig into certain topics that we otherwise wouldn’t have. This is really well done, overall. It’s a great blend of fun, beauty, and learning. Highly recommend it!

Mixed feelings about excursion

Quad riding was nice but did not enjoy the village kids touching and grabbing at us. Did not feel safe at times. There was also expectations to buy them sweets and hand it out. I did not had money with me so the instructor became a bit unfriendly with me.

Absolutely enjoyed this tour. It was just my husband and I sharing an ATV ride along with the guides. The tour was simple yet informative. if you're looking to go on a nice ride to see the landscape and and a couple of villages. The stop at Shambaland wasn't needed but the overall experience was worth it. Would definitely do this tour again just for the ride.

The guides were really nice, informative, helpful, and funny. The free pizza was awesome. They also provide free water. We took pictures with the children in the village and gave them presents.

Our guides Habib and Mustafa were great. We got a look at the countryside as well as visited some local villages. Be sure to bring some extra money to buy treats for the kids. Focus on safety was appreciated.

Het is heel fijn dat het een privé tour is. De jongens waren super aardig tegen ons en wilde ons van alles leren en laten zien. Het was geweldig om naar de lokale dorpen te gaan. Wees er wel op voorbereid dat de kinderen dingen proberen te stelen. We hadden een anti-diefstal rugtas mee dus konden alles veilig wegstoppen.
