Our guide Tonka was fabulous! This was our second culinary walking tour as we are a multigenerational group, and these are easier for the older participants….our first one in Dubrovnik was wonderful, but Tonka also hit it out of the park in Zadar! I would highly recommend this particular tour and guide, and this type of tour in general, if you have members of your group needing a little less strenuous activity. All of the places we visited were top notch and the food was AMAZING! Tonka was also a fabulous guide!

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide and he did a great job showing us some local spots of food, wine and ice cream! There was delicious famous cheese, a variety of seafood, locally sourced wine and liquor as well as a small restaurant with the greatest prosciutto! We're sorry we cannot remember his name but as a group of 4 we all had a flavorful and insightful 3 hour adventure through the old town of Zadar!
Come to Zadar and must call for this tour for a full lunch of tasting and touring the old city with a lovely guide!

Our guide Andrija was very knowledgeable about the local food and history of Zadar, he was very engaging and we really enjoyed our day in the old town sampling a variety of food & drink. Our children are 15 & 19 years old and they thought it was great too.

Tonka was an amazing guide — warm, knowledgeable, and full of great local stories. The food stops were delicious and authentic, from cheese and prosciutto to wine and sweets. This was a great way to experience Zadar and taste the foods and beverages native to Croatia. tanka was our guide and she was excellent. She gave us a great tour and history of Zadar and picked out great food s for us to try. We also toured the farmers market and fish market. Highly recommended. Ask for Tanka to be your tour guide.

This was an amazing food tour! We do a food tour on our first day in a country so we have some insight into what foods are local and to better help us order food for the rest of our trip. Our guide was incredible! He shared so much valuable information about not only food, but history as well. All of the food was so very delicious, but our last stop for the seafood plate for two was the absolute best!! The Croatian gelato was fantastic! The local wine was delicious as well.
I ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour for anyone who likes to eat and wants to learn about local food and wine!

This was a tasting tour structured by courses appetizers, main course, and dessert. Each course featured local favorites such as prosciutto, fresh shellfish and gelato. We also toured a shop that featured condiments that are local to the area. We did all this while also learning of the house history local to Zadar.
This was a fun tour.

Great time. I chose a food/wine tour bc it would be a small group and more interactive with guide and other guests. It did not disappoint. Guide was a lot of fun. Knowledgeable Food was way more than we expected thought we would just get mini bites. Nope plenty to taste all of it great.

Tonka was very nice and ended up chatting with us about many things Croatia related. She explained some of the Old Towns charm and took us to first try an amazing cheese and oil originated in her home island town. Later we went to 2 other tastings and finished with ice cream. On the way to the tastings we stopped twice to try two special liqueurs.

We had a wonderful time tasting our way through Zadar. Along the way we stopped to see local happenings and learned the significance of different areas of the town. Andrea kept the conversations going and made everyone in our group feel welcome. We also enjoyed learning about what it is like to be a local - how Zadar functions, how locals dine and live in the charming city.

We spent a couple of wonderful hours with Andre. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. He explained more than just about the foods of the area, but about the culture and the history of Slovenia. He took us to individual food vendors and restaurants, where we we tasted a variety of foods. I would highly recommend this tour. It was very personal and very informative.
