Late Driver - but Great Jeep Guide

Our booking was accepted by Yasa as driver to/from location for 12.00 pickup. He then WhatsApp he had to go pray so wld be late. A highly unacceptable way to treat customers & we told him that on meeting. We were not all happy when he picked us 30 minutes late!! On returning to our accommodation at end of trip he asked for a 5* review (absolutely not happening). On the other hand our jeep driver/guide Taplin was excellent & we enjoyed seeing Merapi with no clouds in front of it. We watched keeps in river racing around. I recommend the Jeep part of your but find it hard to recommend a driver who does not value promptness

Well organised, nice trip. Unfortunately was cloudy the day of my trip, hence the volcano couldn't be seen well. Very interesting the visit to the museum, though

Great drivers, both the hotel transfer and the jeep tour guide. We are disaster researchers, so the guide was great about answering questions, letting us take our time for photos and chatting, and giving us time for shopping. The museum is fascinating. The guide was also respectful about not splashing too much at the waterpark portion. Highly recommend!

We had the best time in this adventure. It was a good balance of excitement and somber information about the volcanic eruptions and the devastating destruction caused. This was good for those who cannot hike up to the actual volcano, but want to learn and experience a beautiful and exhilarating day! Our guide Ruddy was friendly, knowledgeable and fun and shared that he survived an eruption while losing everything.

Fun time at Merapi

Great fun time on the 4X4 up to the volcano viewing and specially the ride along the river. The driver was very good at explaining the unfortunate bunker incident and the impact of the recent volcanic activities.
