You will see so many places that Beatriz memorialized in her book illustrations - cottages, gates, gardens etc. - and you can compare the reality with her pictures. You will see so many picturesque spots and learn so much about Beatrix's life. A wonderful experience!

This tour was so beautiful and our guide was excellent! We saw some amazing scenery and fairytale settings. Our guide was so knowledgeable and had some fun stories, we really learned a lot, Beatrix Potter was so much more than a children’s author. We also appreciated the small group arrangement.
We would definitely recommend this tour and this company.

Tim our tour guide is a credit to your company! From collecting us from the station first thing to leaving no stone unturned, very informative facts and information, really made our day. Would highly recommend this Beatrix Potter tour.

Informative fun full of knowledge that you don’t know. It was a lovely way to spend a morning travelling the beautiful countryside Beatrix got her inspiration from. Our guide Tim was full of information with images also to match up along the way. My daughter didn’t know much and came away feeling inspired by Beatrix and her life. Thank you to all who follow in keeping her wishes.

Excellent tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave lots of local tidbits about Beatrix. The tour itself was exceptional. I felt as if I have an understanding of her life and seeing where she lived and wrote brings her stories more to life than before. I highly recommend this tour.

An absolutely fascinating tour revealing a huge amount of detail - Beatrix Potter homes, associated locations, personal networks etc.. Our guide Tim was a superb host and provided encyclopaedic knowledge about Potter, her history, her lakes district activities etc. Even having read her biography, we learned even more!

I had a chance to do the Beatrix Potter tour in June 2024. Traveling alone can be uneasy, but the tour operator was remarkably friendly and made it very easy. After getting picked up at the Windermere train station we were on our way! Throughout our journey I was remarkably impressed at how knowledgeable the tour guide was. He really demonstrated expert insight into the life and writings of Beatrix Potter. I was particularly impressed with how he pointed out specific places that are highlighted in her books. During our travels he went above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort. Thank you for an excellent experience!! This was certainly one of the best highlights of my two week trip!
