- Each passenger must have their own seat
- Entrance to Hill Top farm is included, however when Hill Top is closed customers will visit The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. (Hill Top is closed on Friday's outside UK school holidays and November - February).
- Please note, the pick up location you have chosen is where you will be collected from. It is not possible to be collected from a different location once chosen. If you are not at the correct pick up location and miss the tour, we cannot offer alternative arrangements.
- If you are returning back to Oxenholme for a train, we recommend booking a train that departs after 6pm to ensure you are dropped off in good time.

The booking company via tour did not tell us that we were not going to be going to hilltop because hilltop is closed on Fridays until July. This was very disappointing, and we felt that they were not honest and only wanted to get a booking.

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the tour. We do make it clear on Viator that Hill Top House is closed on Fridays, and therefore not included in the Friday itinerary. Instead, we visit the World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness-on-Windermere as an alternative. As a gesture of goodwill, we also treated all guests on that tour to cream tea at the Lindeth Howe Hotel. We hope you were still able to enjoy the experience overall.

Peter Fox was a terrific guide! The bus was warm and cozy, and the tour included all the essentials. First a wonderful boat tour of Windermere where we could stand on the top of the boat and see everything. Then a visit to the castle where Beatrix spent her summers. Peter was full of knowledge and helped us have the best tour possible. We went straight into Hill Top with no delays. So lovely! A bucket list moment for me. Very special!

It was an amazing tour, very informative and culturally a realisation of a dream, to see places I have only read as a student! The cruise was very tranquil as the lake waters glistened in the sunshine!
