Mary was a grest host and very informative the boat ride was smoth and comfortable it was a relaxing experience and we got to take loads of pictures we can recommend this activity thank you

We enjoyed a pleasant, relaxed tour of the harbour noting buildings of historical interest. Captain Andy and Dave with guide Mary were genial hosts. We enjoyed our refreshments too - thank you! On a future visit, with more time available, we would like to have a longer tour. Thank you very much.

Really lovely boat trip over Christmas break the family - we arrived on the boat and were so happy to find it was just ourselves . The captain had some lovely food laid out including treats for the girls and lovely Christmas cake - we had tea : juice’s and a little cheeky Irish whiskey which was so lovely on a bright but cold Irish day - also loved that there were blankets and life jackets for the 12year olds so felt super safe
We were also blessed to see a pod of dolphins playing away which really made the girls holiday - we will definitely book again

Fun, great talk and very reasonable price. Great trip on the main river in Waterford and close to the center of town so it is easy to marry this together with other sights

Jonathan is a fantastic historian who will connect the beautiful vistas on the river with real history! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with these gentlemen. We knew a little about Waterford before our cruise but now we have a much greater appreciation of Waterford, thanks to Jonathan. The cruise was wonderfully calming and leisurely. We had great photo opportunities. We even donned our Viking helmets! You should have seen us!
You definitely will not regret taking this cruise. It is very much worth it!

The boat was a bit cramped and the sights were difficult to see. The description said 1-3 hours and it was just an hour long.

Hi Tasha, it was a busy day and we try to accommodate everyone. The boat can be hired for longer journeys further downriver by arrangement. those excursions can take up to three hours. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation. All the best.

We were very delayed and missed our departure time. When we finally arrived, after the original tour had returned, Andy still took us out and we had a wonderful cruise on the river. Johnny was the guide who has an immense knowledge of Irish history that he shares with great enthusiasm. We loved every minute that we spent with Andy and Johnny.
I highly recommend this excursion!

The tour was very informative and not too much information to feel overwhelmed. The hot tea and candy were a nice touch. The tour guide also recommended a hike, the Dunmore Coastal Path which was great!

Mike was a great captain and the gent explaining the history of the area was amazing (Johnny, I believe). Amazing history lesson covering Vikings, U-boats/WW1, WW2, and Waterford Castle/Fitzgeralds. Dress warm. 100% recommend!

El personal fue muy amable en todo momento, y se preocupo de ayudarme a localizar el punto desde donde se zarpaba.
Amenizó el paseo en un barco para aprox. 7-8 pasajeros, muy agradable, con historia de la ciudad e islas cercanas, y anécdotas al respecto de personajes que vivieron alli. Además, ofrece agua, te o café, con dulce, para degustar durante la travesía.
Se requiere buen conocimiento de inglés, pues todas las explicaciones son en dicho idioma.
