Great Tour 1000 Year of Viking History

This tour was excellent! The tour guide Jamie was extremely knowledgeable and was able to review 1000 years of Viking history in 45 minutes all while trying to keep us dry from a healthy rain storm. He was funny, approachable and welcomed any interaction. Loved this tour and I would recommend to anyone.

Definitely take this tour!

1000 years in 1000 steps. One of the best guides we had in Ireland. Provided great context for all we saw and interesting side stories. Note that you can buy a pass at the Bishop's House (where tour starts) for 20 euro that gives you the tour plus access to 4 or 5 museums. If you want to visit multiple museums, that is a better deal.

*Restrooms can be found in all Waterford Treasures museums. *Bishop’s Palace has a café, and plenty of alternative dining options dot the streets of the Viking Triangle. *Tourist information offices are situated on the Mall and at Parade Quay. *The Medieval Museum and Bishop’s Palace are wheelchair-accessible. The upper floors of Reginald’s Tower are not.
