it was a wonderful boat ride very relaxing and the walk was nice up to the top. There was no instruction on the natural flora but that was OK. Everything was very enjoyable.

Really glad you enjoyed the trip Fran. Our guides and skippers are always happy to answer any questions you have about the flora and fauna or any other subjects you are interested in. Safe travels!

We had a very good time, the crew looked after us and gave us a lot of information about the area. We had a great time!

Enjoyed the cruise with friendly crew and they were also very knowledgeable about the area. The walk to the top of the island was interesting

The captain and first mate were great! Could walk around the boat, buy a drink at the on-boat bar, and enjoy the sites on the ride over. Disembarked and took a short walk up to a view point. Back on the boat for complementary biscuits and tea for the ride back. Would recommend.

Practically, just boat ride. No history while en route. Walked at the claim is just a short walk and our guide had no knowledge of the vegetation around us. He did try to explain Manuka and Kanuka trees, but did not know much, and he admitted that.
Tea and biscuits on the way back were ok, regular butter cookies and nothing special about that.
No need to spend the kind of money on this boat ride. I’m writing review for that cruise and nature walk. No need to spend so much money on this boat ride.

The hosts Reon and Adrian were very attentive, knowledgeable, funny and embraced all the cultures on the boat.
It was quite rough out in the open but Reon navigated it all expertly.
The walk up the island was awesome, just enough puff to let us know we had had a workout. Magnificent views and interesting stories.
It was a fun, informative comfortable afternoon followed by a welcome cuppa on the way back.

Thanks Jill. I'm glad the lads did a great job. I'll pass it on.

Very relaxing cruise and easy walk at the Island. But perhaps a bit more snacks can be offered for afternoon tea besides just few pieces of cookies and tea. :)
