Absolutely fantastic from start to finish!! The lads were so friendly whilst we were checking in, and then on the boat Alex was brilliant. He chatted through everything we were going to be doing and then off we went!! Pulled a couple of ‘doughnuts’ on the lake and then headed to the river where he weaved his way through the rocks/rapids/sandbanks/shoreline/bridge parapets with centimetre accuracy!!! Plus a few more doughnuts on the way!!
Would 100 recommend it!!

Best experience to have for our first time especially in the South Island. Wicked laughs along the way, so ecstatic to experience seeing the mountains from the Lake point of view. Almost did not purchase it but lucky I did.

One of the best experiences you can do. Great adrenaline rush! Woo Hooo! The trip down the Lake Wānaka Outlet/ Clutha River to Albert town Bridge was amazing. Water levels are currently high so you only got glimpses of rocks underneath the surface. Amber was so informative and a great driver. Those 360° turns... wow! A Gopro would have really helped to be hands free as I didn't trust myself not to hold on 🤣

Tour guide was great and the surrounds were beautiful. Fun trip was made difficult by the rain - coz when you travel fast the rain drops hurt a bit, especially in the eye so wear your sunnies.

This was a great excursion - definitely worth the $. We were fearful of the threatening weather - but they were flexible and provided the option to just cruise the river and we avoided the pounding waves on the Lake. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The Hamilton spins were fun - and our guide executed them perfectly to provide a thrill without getting us too wet. Highly recommend this activity with Lakeland jet boat crew !

Fun and fairly exciting jet boat ride along the river ! Our guides were really fun and experienced, and the ride was totally worth it. It can be quite windy, cold and a little wet, so do make sure you are dressed prepared. Part of ticket proceeds goes to conservation as well, so do sign up!

We did this boat trip today & because the lake was rough we drove with the boat 1ins up the road to get onto the river. Matt was brilliant, he drove the boat very competently and shared his local knowledge at relevant points along the trip. We rode close to the trees and did several Hamilton turns as well as riding fast over rapids and along the river. There were only 4 of us on the trip but we were made to feel very safe and welcome. I would highly recommend this boat trip to anyone staying in Wanaka.

I’ve done Queenstown jet boats and this one at Wanaka was my favourite. We missed our booking and the boys were great, just let us join on the next day. I’d recommend this jet boating experience above the rest. The driver was good eye candy which helps 😉
