Turn towards the water onto Goodmere Rd in Sooke. Come down past the Condos onto the Private Road to the Sooke Landing Marina. Best to park at the top of the last hill on the right. A parking pass is required and can be emailed to you or picked up at the boat.

Highly recommend this experience. It was lots of fun, we learned the basics, and it felt like the perfect intro to sailing. Our skipper Gord was fantastic - calm, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

Great experience to learn some basic hands on sailing. Gord was an experienced sailor with great interactive conversations with everyone on board. He was attentive to each of the different passengers regarding their desire to be involved in the sailing experience. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to enjoy some sailing time on the water

Bundle up for a very different adventure! This was a nice way to spend an afternoon. Watch out! There are three harbors in town so make sure to scour the information for the correct harbor.

Hubby was able to steer the boat for a good portion of the trip as it was just us. I learned how heavy the sails are to raise. Once the motor shuts off, we could hear the whales blow, off in the distance. Loved it

Dallas was an excellent captain. Safety was the primary concern and the comfort and wellbeing for the sailors was a high priority. We maneuvered through the harbor to the Pacific Ocean on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. The winds started out calm but picked up as we went further out. Fog hung over the water in the distance but burned off with the rise in temperature.
Dallas was engaging in conversation spanning a diverse range of topics. His demeanor was calm but engaging. We had a great 4 hours on the water enjoying not only the sailing adventure but the beautiful coastline. So an overall A+ for the day!

Pulled into the parking lot and a car pulled up beside ours. It was Gord, the Captain of the boat that were going on. Started out great and got better! We are a party of 3 , Lorelei (my daughter), Wendy and myself (CaptnHerm). We motored out with me at the wheel and Gord raising the mainsail and unfurling the jib! Very slow sail, we had lunch, Gord made tea and we reminisced of the boats we sailed and places we’ve been. It was a great afternoon and a great time!

Most memorable parts was getting to steer the sailboat and enjoy the water. Not much wind and not seeing much wildlife was a bummer. No whales. Rain was miserable. Very small boat. Doesn’t look like picture.

Our apologies. We are glad you enjoyed the sailing part of the trip. We do have two boats that we use to take people out sailing. Both of them are proven ocean sailing vessels. The cockpits are the approximately the same size even though there is a five foot difference in the overall length of the boats. Also sorry about the weather and wildlife. It is something we cannot control. It normally doesn't rain that time of year. We hope you give us another chance and things work out better for you. Thanks Gord

Outstanding!! Gord was kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and an easy laugh. For those who wanted to, the sailing was very hands on under Gord's thoughtful guidance. We sailed the Strait of Juan de Fuca approaching international waters. Perfect conditions and a fantastic 32' keelboat in excellent shape. Exhilarating!

Fabulous trip. Intrepid novices to sea sailing in anything bigger than a dingy but had a wonderful time. Gord, the instructor was fantastic. Highly recommend this for anybody wanting a taste of sailing.

What a wonderful experience! Truly memorable learning about the boat and the techniques to sail. Mitchell was very personable and knowledge not only about sailing but also some historical facts of the area. We felt comfortable and encouraged every step of the journey. We were not sure the type of sail boat we would be on as the photo images on the site differ than from what we actually sailed on. This is the only reason we weren’t able to give a full star review. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

Our entire family had an exceptional time! It was the ideal gift for my husband‘s birthday! Gord was incredible at coaching us any giving instructions on how to sail. Neither of us had ever sailed before and we had an exceptional time! I highly recommend this tour for anyone remotely interested in sailing. Gord was also wonderful with our two children who thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the 4 hour trip. We all learned a ton and had a blast doing it.

Es war ein großartiges Erlebnis. Der Skipper hat uns steuern lassen und wir haben viel gesehen. Es hat sich wie ein Wochenendausflug mit Freunden angefühlt. Es war lustig,ungezwungen und informativ. Man muss allerdings seefest sein.
Wir werden diesen Trip nie vergessen. Es war wunderbar.
