Make sure you know what seat level and possible upgrade you are booking. We booked and paid for premium seating but the ferry tried to give us economy class. I had to call Viator to get everything straightened out. Everyone was friendly through the process.

A great way to travel from Victoria, BC to Seattle. Seats are comfortable and a great view of Puget Sound. This was comfortable and quick.

Ferry schedule was changed and notification was sent to Viator. However, Viator did not send us updates on the time change AND continued on the day of sailing to send verifications using the incorrect sailing time. This cost my family a day of preplanned activities to be wasted.

We traveled from Victoria to Seattle on the Victoria Clipper. Service was excellent and though they warned of turbulent seas it was a smooth ride. We saw several pods of whales during our journey. They have a galley/bar on board so one can drink and eat the whole way. Very nice way to travel.

Comfortable ride , seat allocation which was great , no fighting for the best seats !! Smooth process boarding the ferry, customs etc We had to purchase extra luggage which was also a very easy process but they do weigh it so don’t overload !

It was unclear to me that Viator was the booking agent. We went looking for a dock/ferry with the name Viator on it. Once we straightened that out, ferry staff were friendly, punctual, helpful, and organized. On board amenities were great and crossing was smooth!

Embarked near our hotel. Disembarked a bit away from city center. Would have liked transfer to hotel be included in price.

If you need to travel from Victoria BC Canada to Seattle Washington USA or vice-versa, this is the way to do it. I was upstairs by the window with a table in seat 8A. It was comfortable & plenty to see along the way. Nice hot chocolate from the galley too! A great way to travel & could check my luggage in several hours earlier with really friendly reception staff.

I appreciated how helpful the crew was in helping someone with a physical disability in both boarding and leaving the boat.

Very organized! We checked in our bags early then we forgot our passports in our bags. The young man was patient and managed to find out checked bags so we could get our passports out.

Was visiting my son in Victoria and decided to fly out of Seattle! A wonderful way to see more of the beautiful area! A great one way trip! Smooth sailing with beautiful views!

So there appears to be a problem with communication between the Ferry staff and Viator. When we arrived for our trip, the Ferry staff did not have us registered. We had to pay again in order to get on the boat. I’m not sure where the disconnect is, but I had my confirmation and ticket. Expecting a refund from somebody, once they figure out what happened. Otherwise, the trip was great. Comfortable seating and a Beautiful day to be on the water!

All in all a great way to travel from Victoria to Seattle. The ride was pleasant and organized. It was very smooth sailing all of the way. Unfortunately we did not see any sea life. Still a great journey!
Ronald_B, Jul 2018
The ship was well organized and the staff were very helpful and friendly. One item to note is that we checked our bags at $10 per bag and we could have actually carried two of them on board. Other than that, it was a great ride.
