Put on long trousers and depending on the weather take an umbrella with you.

Our night walk was with a group of 5 people and a guide. We enjoyed it but there were so many groups out at the same time on the same trail so it was a bit difficult to spot animals. We saw quite a few frogs, a sloth and the best part was seeing a porcupine.

Warren was our guide during the night tour, and it was unbelievable the amount of animals he spotted. Next to all the animals we saw, we learned a lot and not to forget, the fun facts he was able to tell us about the animals. The best end of our visit of Torteguero we could think of.

Great night safari, saw lots of animals including multiple sloths, toucans, iguanas, snakes and frogs. Diego our guide was a great spotter, and saw so much more than if I went without a guide, he had loads of knowledge about the area and the animals. Would definitely recommend going on this tour.

This was a good tour. Saw sleeping sloths A pair of snakes breeding and other things. Walked the beach hoping for a leatherback as one was seen the previous week. Just starting to return to the nesting area.

"After a cordial welcome and check-in, then we will board the boat that will take us to the entrance of the trail." There was no boat. We literally walked around a chain of hotels a few hundred feet from their office. This is false advertising
2) "This tour/activity will a maximum of 7 travelers." We literally had to push our way through in order to engage with the tour guide who would show something to the people in front and then walk away, all during a pandemic.
The listing should've reflected these significant changes. If I knew we were merely going to walk around some hotels with a large group for 2 hours, I wouldn't have even done this for free.
I've taken this up with Viator and they refuse to acknowledge the facts in the description even claiming that it didn't affect the quality of tour despite me remembering that no member of Viator was actually present for this tour.

Wir hatten eine Buchung vorgenommen, die deutschsprachig sein sollte. War sie aber nicht. Wird schon gehen haben wir gedacht. Wir wanderten mit ca. 20 anderen Gruppen den gleichen Weg und alle in hoher Lautstärke, wodurch von Anfang an keine Tiere zu erwarten waren. Der Guide beschäftigte sich hauptsächlich anderen Sachen und informierte uns über Spinnen, die alle 5 m zu sehen waren. Alles in allem - negativ.
