Insist on Stivi !!

Our guide Stivi was probably the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve done a lot of walking and biking tours all over Europe and Asia in the last 15 years. He’s a locally born, raised and university educated Albanian and his English is perfect. He is engaging and responsive and you can tell he loves his work. The bike shop that he works with is also quite amazing. E-bikes are readily available (for an additional charge) and all bikes are quality and in mint mechanical condition. The bike shop offered us a snack on our return and it was more like a meal with several authentic Albanian dishes / samplers. There was no charge, but we did leave a decent tip. All of us would highly recommend Stivi and this biking tour. There was very little hill climbing on our tour and despite the fact that we were all in our late 60s, we could have done this tour without the e-bike boast.

Brilliant Bike Tour of Tirana!

The bike ride with Stivi was brilliant. We visited all of the main sights in Tirana which Stivi talked about in great detail and depth. It is obvious he is very passionate the history, culture and traditions of Albania. His knowledge is remarkable! This was the most informative city bike tour we have participated in (and we have done quite a few) as we find them the best way to get an overview of what there is to see and do in the city. Make this the first thing you do in Tirana as we would definitely recommend it.
