Masada was closed due to high winds and flash floods. Dan our guide gave us an excellent day instead visiting many other very interesting sites in the area such as the site of the dead sea scrolls and the river Jordan baptismal site . Dan was a great guide with a wealth of knowledge of the area and gave us an excellent day out - we felt very well cared for and enjoyed a day that could easily have been a disappointment very much.

Experiencing Masada was mind blowing! Excellent tour. The only problem was changing vans to get back to Tel Aviv.

I was supposed to have a 7:20am pickup at the hotel. I saw the minibus and spoke to the driver including showing him my tickets and was told this was not my tour. That the next bus would be there in about 20 minutes. When no next bus came a nice taxi driver called the tour operator and was told they would call the hotel front desk to let me know what was going on. We waited about 15 minutes and then the concierge called and was told a taxi would pick us up. When we finally caught up with the bus it was the same driver I spoke to at the hotel. because of this the whole bus had to wait for us and the tour seemed very rushed because they had to make up the time to be able to get tp the Dead Sea before the area closed.

Pick up was easily arranged via email and telephone confirmation. Our driver/tour guide provided excellent confirming service and hospitality throughout. In the morning, he guided us to Masada via comfortable a/c,14 person van down to the lowest place on Earth greatly informed then the cable-car up the mountain. Our guide knew his history passionately and expressed it well. After our top tour then back down via same cable-car we were delivered to the Dead Sea bath house/souvenir shop where we floated and soaked in the harsh sun, oily water and mineralizing mud. Hot tub mineral soaks had pools for men separate from women at the bathhouse too. Great experience in the people mover tractor that takes you from the spa to the shore, now about a mile away due to evaporation shrinkage. Lunch was buffet grill and salad for an extra 50 Shekels Fascinating experience and highly recommend it at $136/person.

Apart from confusion about hotel pick-up point and time, the tour was in general well-planned
and organised. Instead of stopping at a Dead-sea cosmetic product shop I prefer a longer and
more thorough visit of Masada itself.

Loved our tour guide, Michael and the overall experience! Just wish that when we booked from Tel Aviv, the tour would have gone straight from Tel Aviv to the tour! We stopped in Jerusalem and wasted over 1.5 hours in traffic to pick up a few more customers. AC also not great on bus...

This was a fabulous tour with a very knowledgeable guide - packing a lot in, with a tour to the Dead Sea, Messada, the trip up the caves in the cable car. Fantastic. My only grip was that the check in procedure was clumsy - although I emailed in advance, the email in reply said I had to phone a local number on arrival, and the person answering had never heard of Viator! It all worked out fine in the end, but an online check in would be useful.

Fue un buen tour, lo único que no me pareceío es que antes de hacer los recorridos turísticos te llevara una tienda para que compres productos de la zona, en lo personal eso hace que s pierda mucho tiempo en cosas sin importancia.
