Incredible tour. Merona was super knowledgeable and with how busy it was, we really did cover a lot of ground. So much history to take in. Favorite stop was the Western Wall with the Dome peaking from the background, definitely a very memorable experience. And the occasional camel sighting near the Dead Sea was great

We had Sharif as our guide and he was awesome. Basically the mayor of any area we walked in. You’ll be lucky to have him as your guide.

    Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you! Sharif, like all Tourist Israel guides, is the best in the business - hand-selected for their personal connection to each place in which they guide their travelers!

    Quick overview of area

    Kristien_K, Mar 2025
This was a fairly good overview of the area in a short span of time. We got a good view and history of the Western Wall and surrounding area. We had a very brief stop in Bethlehem, where there was too long of a line to see the Nativity which was disappointing. We did get some time in Jerusalem, but with the walking from the parking area it felt a bit rushed here. The Dead Sea was quite amazing, but I’d definitely recommend wearing shoes/sandals down to the water as the surface is very rocky. Also, be careful once in the water as there are large blocks of cement you can't see through the muddy water. I scratched my leg fairly badly on one. The mud is quite soothing, so do rub some on yourself you'll enjoy the feel of your skin afterwards. Overall good tour and guide was nice and informative. 8/10

    Response from Host, Jul 2025

Thank you for your honest and thoughtful review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the tour overall and found the guide informative. We appreciate your helpful tips for future travelers, especially about the Dead Sea. Sorry to hear about the scratch-we hope it healed quickly! Your feedback helps us continue to improve, and we’re grateful you joined us for the experience.

    Sivan is terrible.

    Teasha_A, Sep 2023
The tour guide Sivan was late getting started and rushed us throughout the whole tour. I was absolutely miserable and I WANT A REFUND. He was rude, cold, full of ego, inconsiderate and unprofessional. He didn't even want us to make a quick stop in the early morning to grab water/juice while he was standing and talking unless it was a place where he was getting a percentage. He told a few of us not to buy from anyone like he can tell us where to spend our money He told us in a condescending way to hurry up and grab our coffee to go. He made us put it in a to go cup and he told other person on the pour it out and don't take it on the bus . I was so uncomfortable all day. We arrived at the church in Bethlehem during mass and we couldn't go in. He knows they have mass daily at that time. The purpose of coming to Tel Aviv is to see these historical places and have a good experience. We didn't get to see it and he was very inconsiderate. He keep telling us we were going to do things and he didn't follow He gave us no free time at all. He kept stopping to talk and in the dead middle in the sun instead of the shade which was 50 ft away. He even told us we needed to eat lunch on the bus to save time so we never got and opportunity to eat in Bethlehem or have any free time all day. He was acting like he was doing us a favor. He said he was going to give information at times where we saw important significant places but he didn't. This was country number 100 for me and he was a terrible guide.

    Response from Host, Oct 2023

It is a perfect trip for people who don't have much time in Israel but want to see as much as possible. The schedule is very tight but it is worth it. Our guide Oded made this trip very enjoyable. Thank you!

    Disappointment

    Gary_J, Sep 2023
Very hurried, only quick stops, lunch was take out on go, highlights in Bethlehem were missed, most of the time was spent on bus. Apparently they combined “Get Your Guide”tour group with us so had a full busload of “50.”Guides were very anxious about the load. All of us had to run to keep up in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. They put us all into a store for the most part of Bethlehem. Most of us were very disappointed.

    Walter_s, Sep 2023
You have that face masks is required for travelers in public areas but this was not enforced. There were people in closed quarters on this tour - 43 people on our tour bus and no one wore a mask. I got Covid soon after returning home.

    Excellent!

    Rahnill_Z, Sep 2023
It was really great tour! Highly recommended to everyone doing trips in Israel. Oded and Hamda was really excellent!

    One of the worst tours

    ABHINAV_S, Sep 2023
Self guided would have been better - not much more I can add. Planning, organization, content everything was weak

    Response from Host, Sep 2023

    Not worth it

    Fernando_L, Sep 2023
This trip is not worth it. They don’t really show you much of Jerusalém. They forced you to get off in a shop just to waste your time instead of utilizing this in another point like the Red Sea. Once you arrive in the Red Sea, you only have 45 minutes or less. The Red Sea stop is not worth it. That particular resort where the bus stop is ran out. You overpaid for chairs and umbrellas, yet, those chairs and umbrellas are broken. Bring your water shoes as you will need them.

    Response from Host, Sep 2023

Dear Fernando, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We regret to learn that your expectations of the tour were not met to your satisfaction. It appears that you may be referring to the shop at the Dead Sea, where our clients have the opportunity to view a brief video presentation on the history of the Dead Sea and the development of the beauty industry and its products. We apologize if you found this part of the tour less engaging than anticipated. Your feedback regarding Kalia Beach has been duly noted, and we will ensure that it is thoroughly investigated. We sincerely hope that you will consider joining us again in the future, as we are committed to making your next experience with us a more enjoyable and fulfilling one. Wishing you a wonderful day! Warm regards, Yedidia

    Amazing tour

    Sonya_G, Sep 2023
Ferez driver and ayadh tour guide great tour driver of Jerusalem and Dead Sea swim we were slightly short on time but did all the main activities like western wall saw dome of rock from distance would have been nice little closer. Bethlehem was little scary when we switched tour guide and there were traders allowed into the coach from Palestine the Bethlehem nativity church was great and then we also managed to get into the stable and touch the star. Great day out

Jerusalem and Dead Sea YES. Bethlehem OKAY

    Tracey_C, Jun 2023
Alicia made the trip to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea an amazing experience. She was very informative and professional. It was incredibly hot and she would ensure we sat in shade for all talks. Which was good because it allowed us to focus on her and the history versus the heat. She answered all of our questions and made.the experience so awesome. NOW, Bethlehem...yes history and such but we spent 10min in church (which was enough) but 45 min being herded into shops with our tour guide Mustafa letting vendors on the bus to sell cheap stuff. I WILL come.back to Israel...but Bethlehem will not be on itinerary. The atmosphere was all about the money in Bethlehem. But Jerusalem and the Dead Sea was soooo worth it!

    Worth it

    Rebeca_E, Jun 2023
Beautiful experience, it's worth it. I liked it because we had the chance to see almost all of the main attractions in just one day. For a first time, I think it's perfect.

    Humbling experience for the soul

Incredible tour. Merona was super knowledgeable and with how busy it was, we really did cover a lot of ground. So much history to take in. Jerusalem & Bethlehem highlights

    Ivette_K, May 2023
The Western Wall was an emotional experience. The Holy Sepulchre was beautiful and filled with so much history. Loved walking through the rooftops and streets. Our guide Max was very relaxed. We didn't appreciate spending 45 min at a jewelry store in Bethlehem. I can shop on my free time. I would have used that extra time at the Dead Sea which I felt rushed and didn't enjoy it as much.

Nice trip in Israel and Palestine

    Krasimir_Y, May 2023
Great tour, safe and secure, good guides, enough time for places. If you want to explore every single destination, then you need to separate trips.

    Nice tour

    Jonathan_D, Feb 2023
Tour was as expected. Guide took as round Jerusalem, with a separate guide for Bethlehem. The Jerusalem guide gave us lots of info about the sites and I found the history interesting and it was amazing to see in this day and age all these people at the sites who actually still believe Jesus was the son of god. There is a different guide for Bethlehem, who was less informative but was ok. We went to a shop in Bethlehem where we were handed shopping baskets and stared at and made to feel like we must buy things which I disliked. I bought a soap rather than have a fight. It was great to cover so many sights in one day. The Dead Sea was fun but the guide could have given more information, e.g. where to find towels, showers, etc.

The best of Israel in one day

    Andrey_K, Feb 2023
So for me personally this was the perfect tour hands down. The guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. The very short stop at the souvenir vendor was very respectful and professional unlike most of the previous tours I’ve taken. I am always short on time, so this was incredibly rich in experience in just one day Do NOT book this tour though if you: - Hope to spend more than 30 minutes in each site - Hope to visit Jesus’ birthplace. The line at the Nativity Church is over 2 hours and you just won’t have that kind of time - Have trouble adhering to the fast schedule of the tour. They WILL leave without you

    Just brilliant!

    Veronika_C, Jan 2023
Such a magical experience! I definitely recommend doing this outside the season as we did not need to queue anywhere and manage to see everything. Our guide was perfect! Prepare your brain for a lot of new information. Our bus ride was comfortable and on time, so don't be late like me.

We saw the main sites but...

    Candice_W, May 2022
We saw the main sites but there was no cohesive story. Yosef, our israeli guide, was a nice person but he seemed to lose his train of thought quite often and he could not answer basic substantive questions that any tour guide should know. His storytelling was confusing. We had no idea where we were half the time or even what we were viewing. I actually felt bad for Yosef. Samir, the Palestinian guide, was much much better but sadly he had an extremely limited role, only the Church of the Nativity really. And, the stop for shopping was a joke - one small shop with nothing you'd actually want. More than happy to help the local economy but let us shop in the Cardo with lots of choices. Sammy, the driver, was very nice and helpful. Getting home at the end of a long day was also stressful as there were no cabs or buses to be found. If you run a tour company in Tel Aviv and you know this will be the case, maybe advise ppl ahead? We had a long walk back to our hotel after walking all day. We've done many Viators all over the world and we will continue I'm sure, but this one was disappointing for sure. I'm sorry but it was.

    Response from Host, Jun 2022

Hello! Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy the part with Yosef, however, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed other parts of the tour. Again I appreciate that you decided to share your impressions with us, as it gives us a chance to review and improve our services. Kind regards

Don’t go if Yosef is your tour guide

    Samantha_O, May 2022
The tour was awesome except My tour guide was Yosef was AWFUL. If you chose this tour and your tour guide is Yosef RUN!!! Yosef did not seem prepared and kept getting side track which put the whole tour behind. The tour was not enjoyable Yosef was difficult to pay attention to as he constantly lost his train of thoughts.

    Response from Host, May 2022

Dear Samantha, Thank you for taking the time to get back to us. We really appreciate your honest feedback. We have forwarded your thoughts to our Operations team for review, as it allows us the opportunity to grow and improve our services. Kind regards

If you only do one tour then do this one

    ALFRED_L, May 2022
Bring your energy because This is a tour packed full of everything Jerusalem plus the Dead Sea. It was worth double the money given the extensive number of sites seen and the guide explanations. The guide had a deep knowledge of all the many sites and current issues related to them today. You get it all with this tour

Great tour with the most important things to see in one day

    Carolina_E, Apr 2022
Very nice tour guide! It’s a fast tour , so you do not have time to see everything, so you have to be aware of that! But for us it was enough! You still see a lot!

    Awesome tour!

    Sergey_K, Mar 2022
Great tour despite the weather was not so nice but the tour guide Sivan made the experience unforgettable. At first it seemed that it's a lot to visit in one day but with no waiting lines we were able to visit all three place and explore places around. Great tour team, great experience!

    Response from Host, Mar 2022

Hello Sergey, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with Sivan! We hope to welcome you another time on one of our tours! All the best

Hi there I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your Jerusalem, Dead Sea and Bethlehem Tour with Sivan! We hope to see you another time!

Great experience for a good price!!! Must Do!

    Ronald_R, Nov 2021
On this tour you actually visit all 3 places Jerusalem first, Bethlehem second and Dead Sea last. The tour guide we had was Mira and she was phenomenal and genuine. She is passionate about what she does which make the experience real. She was also the driver which was great because she gets you to your destinations very quickly just fasten your seat belt and hold on. Lol.. Going during the pandemic time actually worked in our favor because it wasn't busy or crowded and we were the only ones in the view areas such as tomb or the Manger. The Wailing Wall was easily accessible and the Dead Sea was only a few people which gave more space and peace to enjoy. Overall great experience.

Disappointing. Paid too much not to experience even the highlights inJerusalem and Bethlehem

    NIOVI_P, Mar 2020
Disappointing!!! Our trip started at 6:35am from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Our guide, Ivan, gave us some general information at the beginning about the city of Jerusalem and informed us that it is easy to get lost in the narrow roads of the city, so we were very cautious and walking fast to be next to our guide. He didn’t not let us know the itinerary/ specific stations that we would make but only told us that if we would get lost, we should meet at 11am at the Jaffa gate. We started our walk, passing by only 2 stops of the Via Dolorosa and headed to the Holly Sepulchre. Once we entered to the Holly Sepulchre very quickly and superficially we did the tour and while in the Tomb, the guide told us there was a big line and due to this, we didn’t have time to queue in order to visit the inner part of the Tomb of Christ. He told us that we have to carry on and he would wait for us outside. After exactly 2 photos we went outside and our group had already left. We got lost in the quartier and once we finally called the service provider, they gave us the phone of our guide in order to contact him. Finally, after 1h, we met with the group. After 30’ we had to leave, to take the bus and visit Bethlehem. The guide tour didn’t come with us. Once we entered the Palestinian site, a woman entered our bus and she introduced herself as our guide. She said that we firstly had to stop in a store to buy souvenirs for 20’. We were finally, waiting almost an hour, where the majority of the group didn’t purchase anything and the woman excused telling that there was a problem with the payments. We then arrived in the parking area to leave our bus and visit the Church of Nativity. Once we entered the area, the guide told us again that it was too crowded and we couldn’t wait to visit the specific room!!!! Also all the areas of the specific church were also closed due to the specific time and the service schedule!!! Then she said that we should go on to have a break and visit a restaurant for a buffet. When we asked if we could stay there in order to visit properly the church as we were not hungry, she declined and said that we had to stick together. Due to the fact that neither the majority of our group wanted to go to this restaurant, she said that then we had to continue our trip to the Dead Sea. She didn’t even propose to stay in the church, she just left the bus. The trip continued only with the driver to the Dead Sea, no video played in the bus as written in the service provided. The duration at the beach was of course more than needed, we left from the Kalia beach at 4:20pm and arrived to Tel Aviv at 6:10pm.

    It vas very amazing!

    Ruzica_P, Dec 2019
It was very comfortable to travel with the agency viator. The members of the organizations are very nice, funny and have a lot of informations for you.

    Not sure I'd book again

    Ger_O, Oct 2019
Myself and my wife booked 2 tickets for a tour of Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Dead Sea for a cost of €186, not cheap but a full day tour of 3 locations. Starting at 6.30am we departed Tel Aviv and headed for Jerusalem. We started our tour a Jaffa Gate and immediately were told to use the bathroom and get a coffee before we start, pointed out the shop to get the coffee, obviously there was a queue so my wife joined the queue and I took a walk around the vicinity, I came across a shop with no queue and phoned my wife to join me. It turned out the coffee in the recommended shop was 15 shekels, where we got our coffee 10 shekels, our guide was very good and knowledgeable and easy to understand, after the Jerusalem tour (no chance to buy souvenirs even though we passed dozens of places that were cheap ( 20 shekels for rosary beads) We left Jerusalem and arrived in Bethlehem, first stop was at a Souvenir shop. 20-25 minute stop- everything over priced, (70 shekels for the same Rosary beads that were 20 in Jerusalem) Next was the Church where Jesus was born, bus was parked and the guide told us we were running late so only 20 minutes in the church, we entered the church and told the queue for to see the place where Jesus was born would take at least 30 minutes, this would eat into our lunch time at a restaurant across the road, not acceptable, we came on a tour to see where Jesus was born not to eat overpriced food where I suspect the tour company would get commission. We stay and saw what we came for and ate at a fast food outlet in the bus station. Then we went to the dead sea, great resort, enjoyed it, each time we got off the bus both doors were opened, front and rear, only time this did not happen was at the end of the tour, before we got off the bus the driver announced that the tour was over and any tips we wanted to give him would be accepted. Then he opened the front door so everyone would have to pass him before getting off, I believe this was shaming people into giving a tip. Again not acceptable. Bad enough taking everyone to overpriced souvenir shops and restaurants and not staying in places of interest longer. We paid for a tour. We got a company that puts the tourist 2nd and its commission 1st

Great value for what you get..

    Mario I, Sep 2019
Great tour, the Guide Allan was excellent and very professional. The tour itself was great with a few areas oportunity. The driver defiantly was the worst, bad driver, bad mood, fighting with everybody while driving, almost crashed twice. Horrible! The Bethlem tour was very poor, we couldn’t go down and see anything. Apart from that we really enjoyed and it’s very worth it.
