Do not do! Especially if you are alone. The description is not accurate. They say they pick you up from 82 local hotels but there are only 2 they pick up from. They say breakfast is included but you get picked up at 3:30 am and the “5 star” hotel they put you in says there is no way possible for them to prepare a breakfast for you the next morning or a box breakfast because it’s too early and you arrive at the hotel after the first day tour after all kitchen staff have left. Not even coffee available. Then they drop you off at the Jordanian border because apparently Jews from Israel are not allowed to take you across the border, yes that was a little scary and hadn’t been prepared for that. The border process has you slightly frightened because they interrogate you, why are you only here one day, why alone? They send you to another office, same thing, they send you back…finally the person from the tour company comes and tells you to give him money for a visa (by the way, get your own if you go because they charge double.) He takes you to the 2nd room where you go through the process again and he confirms you can use the visa you already applied for. Now while you e been waiting you’ve read everything on the walls so you already know Jordan charges $30 if you’re only there one day, $20 for two days…a tax. But NOOO, the tour company charges $65. When you have finally been like no, this isn’t right, nothing presented has been as described, I had to pay for a taxi from my hotel to their hotel for pickup, there was no breakfast, the tour operator argues with you, and Ramsay informs you that you either pay the $65 or you sit there for 11 hours in the smoke filled border room with people looking at you angry (probably because I didn’t have my hair covered after I asked if I should) so you pay. Petra is pretty cool, but it must be better with a different company. Oh and the icing on the cake! In Bethlehem the driver of the tour bus actually stops to get involved in a street fight! Literally stops the vehicle in the road and jumps out to get involved, screaming at someone in the group. In case you weren’t aware, Bethlehem is under Palestine authority. These are cultures that have a lot of animosity towards each other and the driver gets involved in a street altercation. Every shop or coffee stop they take you to is also just their friends trying to get you to buy things…like they follow you around constantly telling you look lady, look lady. It was constant. Don’t believe them when they tell you proceeds from the sale of products are from Christian artists, once you get to the old city you’ll see that was a scam. Overall this was the worst tour I’ve ever been on anywhere. And I travel a lot. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but they just sent me a link to review them so they should have known I was not happy. I didn’t leave through their link as it took me off Viator.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and would like to address several inaccuracies in your account to provide clarity for future travelers.
Regarding pickup locations: Our tour description on Viator clearly states the specific hotels from which we offer pickup service. This information is available prior to booking, and we encourage all guests to review pickup details before confirming their reservation.
Regarding breakfast: Due to the early 3:30 AM departure for the Ramon Airport flight, our tour description clearly advises guests to pre-order a breakfast box, as standard hotel breakfast service begins at 7:00 AM. This is standard practice for early-morning departures and is communicated in advance.
Regarding visa and border fees: The visa fee and both border crossing fees totaling $140 USD are clearly stated on our website and in booking materials. These are official government fees collected at the border, not tour company charges. We regret that there was a delay of approximately 1.5 hours at the border while this payment was being resolved.
Regarding the border crossing process: We must respectfully but firmly correct several statements in your review. Israeli tour guides regularly cross into Jordan with groups. The border procedures you experienced are standard Jordanian entry protocols applied to all visitors. Our team was present throughout to assist you, and all arrangements were pre-coordinated on your behalf.
Regarding your characterizations of local communities: We find certain remarks in your review concerning Palestine, local residents, and religious practices to be inaccurate and not reflective of the welcoming communities we work with daily. These characterizations do not align with reality and we would encourage a more open-minded perspective when traveling through diverse cultures.
Our Jerusalem and Bethlehem itinerary delivered all elements described in the tour listing. We have successfully operated this tour for thousands of satisfied guests and remain committed to providing authentic, well-organized experiences.
We are sorry this tour did not meet your expectations and welcome you to contact us directly to discuss your experience further.
