Hop inside your air-conditioned coach at your central Tel Aviv hotel and set off on your full-day trip to discover some of Israel’s ancient port cities and coastal highlights.
As you travel, listen as your guide talks of the region’s ancient history. Hear about your first destination, ancient Caesarea, where the remains of a grandiose port city built by Herod the Great, line the Mediterranean shores.
Visit the Caesarea National Park to see the timeworn ruins of Herod’s harbor, the Roman amphitheater and other relics, and learn how the port was named after the Roman emperor Caesar Augustus.
Continue to Haifa, Israel’s third largest city, situated between Mt Carmen and golden Mediterranean beaches. Hear how this picturesque city is home to the headquarters of the Baha'i faith, and view the magnificently terraced Baha'i Gardens, topped by a gold-domed shrine to Bab, the faith’s founder. Travel on to Rosh Hanikra in the Achziv Natural Reserve, where the sea has carved beautiful caverns from the white cliffs. Admire the turquoise-water-filled grottos and with luck, glimpse the loggerhead turtles and bats that frequent this protected area.
Next, continue to Acre, an important port-city in ancient times. Hear how its Hebrew name of Akko means ‘until here,’ reflecting its location at the furthest point of the land of Israel, and learn about its Greek, Roman, Crusader and Ottoman roots.
Explore some of the archaeological treasures in the UNESCO-listed Old City, including the Crusader underground tunnels used by the Knights of St John. Then, stroll around the bustling Old City Market to browse the stalls selling spices, herbs and trinkets.
Perhaps snap up souvenirs (own expense) here and then travel back to Tel Aviv, where your trip ends with a hotel drop-off.

Aviva our guide was very excellent, she walked with us on all the sites and always accounted for the people in her group. She was very detailed in explaining what was next , the history of the place or site and when to come back to meet up. I wish Aviva was our guide for the other tours we joined in through this tour company.

Itamar, our guide, was fantastic; imparting information and personal stories with a sense of humor. Caesarea was amazing - what a place for a palace! Haifa and the Baha’i Gardens offered beautiful views, the cable car ride to the grottos was a delightful, unexpected experience (I can still hear the crashing of the water in the caves!) and the citadel at Acre was fascinating. An enjoyable departure from the typical tourist destinations.

Some great highlights of the day but overall not the best tour. Acko was disappointing- tour guide took us to see his ‘friend’ make a copper bracelet, after he took us to his ‘friend’s’ restaurant to eat lunch. Felt a little weird

Jam packed day of touring up North!!! Bus picked us up at our hotel at the exact time given and we were taken to location to change to our respective buses for our tour. Bus was brand new, comfortable and spacious. Avi our tour guide was informative and knowledgeable. Our first stop was Caesarea's National Park and the history was so interesting!!! Then off to the Bahai Gardens for some photo ops; only able to photograph from above or below. We did not enter gardens, but I knew that we wouldn;t. Next, Rosh Hanikra and finally the city of Akko. Here we stopped for lunch (Wish they added that to the description) which was an additional cost. Was a long day, but great to do on tour so we didnt have to drive and were able to look at the countryside. Bus driver also wonderful handling turns and traffic with a large bus with ease!!

The whole experience was a nightmare! The guide Roy was dry and uncaring. For him to save his time to take us for unnecessary stop at a souvenir shop of his choice for one hour and 30 minutes, so he took the whole group on a dangerous and unsafe path, no guard rails walking o the age of the cliff. No consideration for elderly or people with disabilities. On the way back when people started complaining he found another safer path. Nothing in the description of the tour indicated that that there will be any need to take that path.Further more he did not even stop to make sure that everyone made it safely.Beside the point, tour does not worth the money and 14 hr of our day.

Tour guide led us into a complimentary snack, which turned into a textbook lunch scam. $250 USD later, we knew not to trust him again, and the rest of the day was a write-off.

Very clever operator - Bein Harim, Israel! Once your cancellation window is closed he knows you have to take whatever crappy dervice they provide.
At the end of the tour I was unceremoniously dumped off at some strange place (not where I had been picked from), had to then take a Gett Cab back.
Viator no longer has a customer support mail ID where you can write in and get a response.

It is difficult to respond when details of when this occurred are absent. It is not evident what was not right with your reservation. Drop-offs are not always at all hotels, but we arrange
returns. Not clear why this did not occur unless your hotel is out of town...

The event with tele cabin
Most of time were spent on historical parts and 5 minutes for Bahaie Shrine and when I asked the tour leader to do so, she brought very unacceptable reason. I am very upset to travel again on my own again while we could be there at least an hour and wasted to another historical site. I am a returning costumer and wil complain it to customer service too.

We are sorry you expected a longer time there, but it is not part of the itinerary, and clearly listed as such, mainly due to the time schedule of the whole tour. We are sorry for this disappointment and understand your feeling angry.

Really enjoyed this tour. Jacob was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. He seemed to know everything and everyone at each stop. The bus was brand new and quite comfortable. Our driver expertly maneuvered that big bus like it was a small car.y only reason for not giving 5 stars is lunch was too long (but tasty!) which made Acre quite rushed at the end.

Acre was the gem and it very interesting to walk around and see the excavations. The tour guide wasn’t that fluent in English so it was hard to follow along. He made the trip average. I stopped trying to listen after awhile. Knowing Lebanon and Israel are enemies and seeing the border was cool from a historical standpoint.

Fabulous trip! We have been to Israel many times but never to these places. A lot of history was learned. The ruins at Caesarea we’re fantastic. The “recent” excavation at Akko was kind of mind blowing, and the grottoes at Rosh Hanikra were incredible. We had plenty of time at each stop, we had a great lunch, and we couldn’t have had a more knowledgeable, caring guide than Danny Maor. This was a 10 out of 10.

The day was packed with very interesting experiences. Caeserea is a fascinating place, as was Acre. The grottoes we visited along the Northern border were also amazing. Definitely would recommend this trip. Probably the best part of the trip was the tour guide, Daniel. He has a wealth of knowledge and can communicate the information in a way that’s compelling and easy to understand, along with some humor thrown in. The only downside was the tiny van we traveled in. It was completely full and some of the taller participants were truly uncomfortable

Overall the experience was pleasant. Yael, the tour guide was very knowledgeable. I would consider this experience more of a scholarly focus, something that someone that enjoys learning about history would enjoy. It felt somewhat like a school field trip. Where it’s primary focus is to learn with some fun infused. The bus was large, nice and air conditioned. Also expect a long day. I did not return to my hotel until around 6:30pm.

Ruben was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the sites we visited and communicated all the information in a very easy and friendly manner. Ruben took the time to answer all questions and was very patient and understanding. He kept the whole group moving and had us on schedule.
The transportation busses were very clean, had wi-fi access which worked and the seats were very comfortable. Akhmad our driver did an excellent job. His driving skills were much appreciated.

Hana did a very nice job keeping group together and explaining all in a nice, informative manner and could be easily heard.
The sites are amazing along the Mediterranean. Very beautiful and diverse. Only disappointment is that you don’t get to visit the Baha’i gardens/just a photo op from top of hill.
