I am a first time user of viator and its app. On may 28 I had a paid and confirmed trip 1650425259 to Galilee, Israel. I was told on may 30 by viator that I had cancelled the trip but I did not cancel the trip but failed to follow through and generate my tickets and I believe the system perceived that as a traveler canceling their ticket. I then rebooked the Galilee trip that same day and viator cancelled that trip I believe. I’m just writing to confirm that both of my bookings $149 to Galilee for $298 are refunded please. Thanks. Kevin. Please don’t post this comment as I’m sure the trip would have been just fine. I just want to assure the refunds and as I’m on travel I can’t easily contact my credit card company to talk with them.

My friend and I were placed on a totally different itinerary from the tour we purchased, and Viator is refusing to refund it. Their customer service is horrific and was never interested in a resolution, even though they admitted the mistake was on their end. I would stay far away from a company as untrustworthy as this.

Unfortunately, you still received an old itinerary of the tour at the moment of the booking.
Viator contacted us about it and we agreed to a partial refund as only parts of the itinerary had changed and most of the sites were visited.

I paid for a tour of the Galilee region with a specific itinerary through Viator. After being on the bus, I was advised that several places I specifically paid for would not be visited as Viator placed me with a different tour group with whom they partner that would not be visiting the places in the region I had paid to see. I was not given the opportunity to choose whether to continue with the tour or not given the changes to the itinerary, as I wasn’t told before getting on the bus that they had done this. As I was based in Jerusalem and it was Friday, this resulted in losing not only my money, but also time over the weekend. I contacted customer service to address and request a refund . I received no response. While the our itself through tourist Israel would have been fine for those who paid for that specific itinerary, I felt that Viator’s choice to place me on a tour that didn’t honor the itinerary I had paid for without letting me know before the tour began was dishonest.
