Wonderful, authentic experience. Maia and Nina are talented cooks, hospitable hosts, and excellent teachers. The lesson was efficient, informative, and hands-on. There will almost certainly be leftovers of most of the foods you cook, and you will get to take them with you. I would recommend this real life experience to anyone traveling to Tbilisi. Didi madloba, Maia and Nina!

This whole experiance was so fun. We met them at their apartment and they walked through how to make each dish step by step. They had good conversations with us in the time that everything was cooking. Everything that we made tasted and looked great. I would reccomend this experiance completely and will probably do it again with a different menu the next time we come to tbilisi.

Great cooking class! Maia and Nina clearly explained how to cook the dishes. They had prepared a few bits and pieces (eg dough, because it needed to rest for a few hours) but otherwise it was a really hands on class. It was not just a cooking demonstration. They sequenced the class so we were always making something, while another dish was cooking. The food was delicious and they are very friendly. I would recommend this class!

The cooking class with Maia and Nina is amazing. Once arrived at their home, they will show you the best of the Georgian cuisine. We made Khinkali, Khachapuri and eggplant rolls with walnuts ourself. Every step is well described and making your own Khinkali is fun with them!
When ready, they serve it for you with Georgian wine and bread in their living room. Also, we learned a lot from Nina about Georgia while talking during the dinner.
In sum, we spent 3 lovely hours at their home and could take away the leftover food for the next day.
We would absolutely recommend this class, also beccause it tastes as good as restaurant meals!

Maia and Nina's kitchen was a wonderful experience!
We arrived to their quaint apartment after being warmly greeted by both Maia and Nina.
After that, we got to cooking. We did a vegetarian cooking class and did potato khinkali, adjaruli khachapuri, stuffed mushroom and walnut-stuffed eggplant. We've had all of these dishes in town while visiting, but making them with the talented Maia and Nina and their special recipes full of love, really made them stand out.
After the fun of cooking and learning the techniques about how to replicate these dishes back at home, we sat down to enjoy the feast with some nice wine and nice conversation with our hosts. We bravely tried to eat as much as we could, but it was impossible. We ended up bringing leftovers home with us, perfectly packaged, to enjoy for another two meals.
Highly recommend visiting these two kitchen pros on your trip if you want to have a true Georgian experience!

This was by far one of my favorite experiences in Tbilisi. On my way to their location, I got lost and was extremely late. Nina and Maia were so kind and gracious and even allowed me to stay late so that I could get the full experience. They are both incredibly talented and immediately made me feel at home. The meals they taught were authentic and traditional Georgian dishes that could easily be replicated at my own home. After preparing the food, we sat down together to eat, drink wine, and just talk. Their true kindness was evident so many times throughout the night, and I was sad to leave. They sent me home with all of the leftovers as well as a copy of the recipes. I cannot recommend these ladies and this experience enough. The next time I am in Georgia I will be sure to book with them again!

I loved cooking with Maia and Nina! They had all the ingredients prepared nicely so it would be easy to cook even for beginners. I really enjoyed making khinkali and the eggplant with walnut paste. There is so much food! They even packaged up the leftovers nicely for me to take back to my hotel.
I would recommend Maia and Nina's cooking class to everyone. They are so kind! They even give you a certificate of completion afterwards and a pdf of the recipes you made with them plus more!

Our visit to Nina and Maia's home was a highlight of our trip to Georgia/Tbilisi. We very much enjoyed learning more about authentic Georgian cuisine and culture with them along with the very nice dinner that we made together. Nina provided recipes and asked that we message her if we had any questions at any time in the future. Very much recommended!

Excellent hospitality and food. Nina got in touch with me prior to the class to make sure I don't have any specific diet requirements which was really good as I am mostly vegetarian. She also picked us from the metro station and took us to her house where the cooking class was. We cooked Khachapuri, Khikali and lobio which we shared at the end with Maia and Nina. The hosts treated us to delicious house red wine. Overall, a very nice experience and a great way of immersing into the local cultures and mingle with the local. I would recommend it to everyone.
