I met the guide Aziza at the hotel where I was staying; we started the tour with a visit to the old part of Tashkent, including Chrosu Bazaar. We then took the bus and went to the new part to of the city, walking through the beautiful parks and boulevards. The guide was well informed abut the city & country's rich history and cultural heritage. We also visited the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin. Finally we stopped to have a nice meal at a local restaurant. Strongly recommended for short stays in Tashkent.

Aziza was so lovely and friendly. She provided so much historical and current informative. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. Very personable.

I cannot recommend this tour. The guide was unprofessional, spending most of the time looking at herself in the mirror and fixing her hair, with very little engagement or enthusiasm. She seemed disinterested and bored with the job. When I mentioned that I preferred to end the tour after 40 minutes and continue on my own, her main concern was whether I would leave a negative review. I suggested she take a training course if she truly wants to be a tour guide and develop passion and care for her work.

Thank for booking our tour.
We have investigated this issue and seems like you weren't nice to guide as well.
You were very rude to guide saying: "You irritate and annoy me". And when the guide wanted to improve tour after your feedback, you gave zero chance and blocked her number for no reason.
Good luck in your travels

I really liked the tour! My guide was pleasant, kind, and spoke excellent English. I took the tour on my first day in the city, and it was a perfect introduction, especially because I received great recommendations and advice from my guide for the rest of my stay in the city.

We were 2 guys visiting Tashkent from London as part of a broader Uzbekistan trip.
Having now had 3 different tours in different parts of the country, I can confirm that Aziza’s tour of Tashkent is not only incredibly informative but Aziza was also personable and incredibly helpful in responding to other questions that we had before and after the tour.
I would really recommend this tour. Aziza was brilliant.

We did the tour in Russian, however she offers it in English as well. The walking tour by Aziza has no concrete organization. I paid 50$ for 2-3 hour guided tour. Upon our meeting I stated that we did not know the city. So she took us around Chorsu market, then long walks to mosque and old town. Extremely little knowledge about the monuments or Uzbek history. Considering I’m writing this review after taking multiple walking tours around the country for a week. Plus I found out Aziza does the same tours for free. In that case the tour would be fine. But when there is cost involved the customer has expectations. The walk we did could be replicated without any guide. I recommend for Aziza to continue with free walking tours or dramatically decrease the cost since I don’t sense her passion in working as a full time guide.

Well, i object. Your friends said that they were born in this city and showed very small interests in whatever our guide Laylo said which basically killed her motivation. Plus, our guide was obliged to make Russian language tour, but since your friends did not speak English she was forced basically. And we do free walking tours when people are more than five at least, so it has nothing to do with private tours. And we have travel agency but we cannot advertise it when we do free walking tours at the same time. Thank you

This was a great walk round Tashkent and covered key points. Not the easiest city to navigate round as it’s so flat with so many trees you can’t see key buildings to aid navigation. That said on the next day I have not got lost , yet.
Guide entertaining.
What is it with the chestnuts?
