Aziza is a great tour guide who really knows the city and its architecture. I enjoyed exploring the bazaar, the subway stations, and other sites on this tour. She was very informative and conducted the tour at a comfortable pace. She also offered suggestions of other activities to enjoy in Tashkent. Highly recommend her tour

We spent a couple of hours with Aziza to see a few select metro stations and city buildings which were beautiful. It was good to have a local guide who can give you more insights - do this quick and fast paced overview tour if don't have much time in Tashkent!

An amazing walking tour through Tashkent, exploring its striking modern Soviet architecture and urban layers. The experience was insightful and genuinely enjoyable. Aziza was outstanding — incredibly informative, fun to walk with, and very generous with both her knowledge and her time. She brought the city to life through stories, context, and thoughtful details. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to understand Tashkent beyond the surface.

The meeting point was easy to find and Aziza arrived right on time. She was warm, organised, and clearly knowledgeable. She shaped the walk around what I wanted to see, focusing on hidden Soviet remnants and a ride on the Soviet-era metro. The context she added made a big difference, from station design and mosaics to small details I would have missed on my own.
The route made sense, the pace was comfortable, and every question was answered plainly. She also added a couple of local stops that gave a fuller feel for the city without eating up time.
Exactly what a private tour should be: smooth logistics, thoughtful tailoring, and real substance. I’d book Aziza again and recommend her to anyone curious about Tashkent, especially if 20th century history is your thing.

Awesome tour with Miss A Curly
She was very knowledgeable and helpful.
I would certainly do another tour with her
She took the to explain the past and the present
Of Tashkent. Giving information about visiting other places of Tashkent that the tour didn’t cover.
Great experience. 6 stars

This walking tour is private and flexible. The guide conveniently picked our group of 6 up from our hotel. We requested Soviet architecture as the focus of our tour, and she was able to adjust this for us. We learned a lot about the recent history and local culture. We saw many Soviet sites during the late afternoon and evening, in a personal relaxed way. Would definitely not have covered this much by ourselves.

A very interesting tour of an unexpected architecture. Our guide Azizeh showed us not only the wonderful mixture of Soviet and Uzbek buildings and subways but also tailored in sights along the way when she realized that it was our first evening in the city so that we could better appreciate Tashkent.
She was full of knowledge and made our evening fun and had the best Plov recommendation!

Unfortunately, there was some confusion over meeting up and the tour ended up starting late. It did, however, take place and very worthwhile it was.
A couple of suggestions to avoid what happened to us. Firstly, make sure you advise the tour guide if you are going to be unable to obtain WiFi prior to the tour. Secondly, make sure you exchange mobile numbers with the tour guide in case you need to contact each other by SMS text or voice before the start of the tour.
Ok, let’s get on with the tour itself! This was an excellent tour that was enjoyable, interesting and informative. The tour guide, Aziza was great. She was obviously experienced and very knowledgeable. She provided a historical and cultural insight into Tashkent and Uzbekistan in general, with interesting information about the sites, buildings and streets that we saw.
I would certainly recommend this tour. It is really worth attending.

Mirwaheed was a great guide! He knew a lot of history. My favorite part was the subway and then seeing the architecture throughout the city. I think it is lovely to see the buildings and architecture, but it was great to have a guide to explain the history.

Really excellent tour with Waheed our tour guide. Great trip on the metro got to see five/six stations including the cosmonaut station which was on my bucket list. Enjoyed the soviet architecture (modernism) and all the information Waheed shared. Really straightforward booking and meet up process would thoroughly recommend
