A local surf school that accomodated our schedule mishap. Surf instructor Jayden was amazing with his instructions and gave a lively, friendly vibe to our first surf experience! Great value for money.

We had a great time learning to surf with Jayden at Tamarindo Surf & Tours! Jayden was an awesome teacher and we all got up even though it was our first time surfing. Would recommend 10/10!!!

First time surfing. 10/10. The company communicated well from start to finish. Our guide Isaac was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Started with an instructional overview of surfing, worked our way into the water, and by the end both of us were standing and riding small waves. Would recommend.

Instructor was top notch, very direct and helpful while being friendly and encouraging. Was our first time surfing and he made it all easy to understand and had us standing up in no time. Absolutely recommend to anyone thinking about it. Was also marked as a group lesson but ours ended up just being us so had lots of help and instruction the whole time. The showers at the meeting place and lockers being included were also very helpful.

Our instructors always aim to be clear supportive and encouraging so it is great to hear that made everything easy to understand and helped you get up on your first waves 🌊
We also love that you mentioned the small group experience Sometimes it works out that way and it allows for even more personalized coaching in the water
And yes having lockers showers and a comfortable meeting point is something we put a lot of effort into to make the whole experience smooth from start to finish

Had a blast doing this. Did not know what to expect as we had never surfed before. My husband got the hang of it pretty quickly. I stood up 3x and that's a lot for me and my two left feet 😂. Thank you Max, we had a blast!

This was such a fun experience! Jeremy was our instructor and he was so helpful in learning how to surf as it was our first time! He was patient and very nice! 10/10 would recommend! We even came back the next day to rent surf boards to keep practicing

As a family (2 adults and 2 older teenagers), only my daughter had ever tried surfing before. Louis, was a brilliant and patient instructor who had us all up surfing in no time. We are now definitely hooked. Tamarindo is a great place to learn, and the value for money was outstanding.

Had a lot of fun, we did a couples lesson. We booth stood up, which was great for our first time. David really took time to breakdown the steps and make it easy to understand.

This was my girlfriend’s first time surfing - she was catching waves within 30 minutes of getting to the beach. Very fun and easy intro to surfing. Would highly recommend.
