The guide was very entertaining while walking us through the most important sites of the capital city of North Macedonian.
I would definitely recommend this tour if you would like to have an overview of the major highlights of the city and hear at the same time undisclosed stories on the past and present of Skopje.

Alexander spotted. us easily as we were directed to the meeting place. There were only three of us on the group. He was an interesting guy who was well traveled himself and interested in us and our questions. He didn’t really do a linear history but showed us all of the ways to move around the city center . He clarified many truths behind some common fallacies.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Northern Macedonia. Explained why so many monuments and statues in Skopje. As a bonus he showed me where to go in the city for real Macedonian food at local prices.

This was a great introduction to the history of Skopje, North Macedonia. Aleksander was our guide and I had a great time listening to him. He speaks English very well and he is very knowledgeable about everything that happened in the city. the country and the Balkans in general.

I travelled with my children (17, 14, 11), and decided to book this tour of Skopje to see the main parts of the city. The tour did not disappoint. The tour guide was excellent (apologies, i can't remeber his name, but I remeber he mentioned his wife was called 'Hope'). The tour and talk was very informative and funny. The guide was very personable and enthusiastic, which is great for everyone on the tour.
I thoroughly recommend this walking tour for adults and children (those that can walk for 2 hours at medium speed with a couple of breaks included). The children and I got to see all the main points of interest in Skopje with the added bonus of history.
