Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Northern Macedonia. Explained why so many monuments and statues in Skopje. As a bonus he showed me where to go in the city for real Macedonian food at local prices.

This was a great introduction to the history of Skopje, North Macedonia. Aleksander was our guide and I had a great time listening to him. He speaks English very well and he is very knowledgeable about everything that happened in the city. the country and the Balkans in general.

I travelled with my children (17, 14, 11), and decided to book this tour of Skopje to see the main parts of the city. The tour did not disappoint. The tour guide was excellent (apologies, i can't remeber his name, but I remeber he mentioned his wife was called 'Hope'). The tour and talk was very informative and funny. The guide was very personable and enthusiastic, which is great for everyone on the tour.
I thoroughly recommend this walking tour for adults and children (those that can walk for 2 hours at medium speed with a couple of breaks included). The children and I got to see all the main points of interest in Skopje with the added bonus of history.

Great tour of Skopje and a great insight into the history and culture of Macedonia. Aleksandar was very knowledgeable with great English skills and a good sense of humor. The tour lasted 2hrs, we walked approximately 5km and covered all the important sights of the city. Aleksandar was also able to answer all of our questions in regards of the health system, military, education, economy etc.
