The essential Sarajevo tour - you can't visit this city without someone taking you to these locations and explaining their importance. We were absolutely blessed to have Emina Koso as our driver and guide - her personal recounts of lived experiences during the Bosnian war is unparalleled to what you get being guided by someone who speaks of it third-hand. She was also very helpful in providing additional information about the city.
If you only do one thing in Sarajevo during your trip, make it this.

We were the only couple on the tour so we had a ‘private’ tour. The tourguide picked us up in her car at our hotel. We drove to a number of places and throughout she explained what happened during the war and which buildings were destroyed, etc. As she had lived trough the war (she was 11 at the time), the stories she shared were very personal and left a big impact on us. This is not a tour where you should expect a lot of laughter on but a tour everyone should take to remind ourselves of the impact of a war and how innocent people are always the victim. From our entire vacation (we visited Vienna, Cavtat and Split also as part of our vacation) this is the one which made the biggest impression and the one which we will remember the longest.

Horrible from the start. Wasted my entire morning trying to coordinate excursion. Very unhelpful customer service. Paid for private tour. Agency said it was a public tour. Spent hours trying to understand what was going on. Wound up canceling. Very upset!!!!! I will take action regarding my bad experience!!!

We loved every second of this tour but the guide, Enes but the tour over the top. Can not say enough good things about him. This is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Sarajevo.
