An additional surcharge of USD 14 per person applies for pick-up and drop-off at outskirt hotels, payable on the day of departure. - Please note, for clients that traveling from Kota Kinabalu City area will be pick-up 2-3 hours before departure time for flight to Sandakan. -While clients stay at Sandakan City area, the pick-up time will be between 0800hrs-0830hrs

The 3 experiences were all unique, allowing for close viewing of the animals in a safe environment.
Our guide, Yan, is one of the best guides we have had anywhere in the world. Her enthusiasm for her job shows in the way she researches to give up to date information not just for the subject matter but also for her country.
She was very knowledgeable, cheery and adaptable, answering all our questions. She is obviously well respected by the other guides too.
We would recommend this tour to see the animals and learn about them and what is being done to secure their future.

Pretty bad! Viator promptly collected the money and confirmed booking, but the operator didn’t respond to my queries. I contacted Viator support about 10 hours before the trip start time and informed about it. The person chatting with me was confident that the operator will come on time to pick me up. Finally, no one came to pick me up. Viator refunded my money later, but I lost the full day sitting at my hotel room. I strongly recommend not to book this trip with this tour operator.

I feel the trip was misleadingly sold. Door to door transfers to me means just that NOT as it turned out a requirement to purchase return air tickets at a further cost of some 60%. We were given no suggestions as to flight timings which resulted in an in an unnecessarily early start. Also the communication between the operator and local guide was poor. We almost didn’t get one of the visits as he knew nothing about it. All said it was a great opportunity to view some incredible wild life.

Regarding the flight timing, we understand that the early start may have been challenging. For guests departing from BKI, our itinerary is designed to ensure you catch the scheduled 10AM feeding at Sepilok. Since the following flight would arrive too late for this unique experience, taking the first available flight is necessary. We apologize if this requirement was not clearly communicated and will work to make this detail more prominent in our pre-trip information.
We also acknowledge your concerns about the door-to-door transfer description and the additional return air ticket cost. Our booking details and itinerary outline these arrangements; however, we understand that further clarity is beneficial. We are reviewing our communication materials to ensure future guests have a complete understanding of all aspects of the trip.

Guide Herman and driver Ben were fantastic from start to finish. Herman is so knowledgeable about the local area and we were thrilled to see orangatangs, proboscis monkeys, and sun bears along with a huge millipede and a black mamba cobra! Great experience!!

The tour says up to $208 usd for two people, and throughout the booking process and checking out it is still $208 usd. However, once I paid - The price automatically changed to confirmation- paid $416 usd.
The actual experience -I filled out the registration form specifying my food allergies. This was further confirmed at the restaurant. The samewaiter that confirmed she understood my allergies brought out the food so I ate it. However, every single dish had gluten ( Which is what I’m allergic to). I’m still suffering the consequences of eating their food. This is unacceptable behaviour and I hope to be compensated for this
