Everything from our lodging pickup to horse selection, instruction, knowledge of the area, monkey siting was just perfect. We are two 72-year olds with some but not much horse riding experience and we felt very safe. Didn't feel pressure to trot (as others did) and the guide (Raffi) was patient and helpful. It was nice to see the off-the-beaten path area of Buena Vista. So glad we did this.

We had a great ride! First outfitter that ever let us do more than walk single file down a path!
Raffi, our guide, answered all our questions about local wildlife and the culture of Costa Rica.

My wife and I had a great time. Our guide was very friendly and attentive. They take you thru beautiful scenery. The best part was taking a break by the ocean and enjoying some fresh pineapple then getting to feed some to your horse as a nice treat

This tour was one of the highlights of our family trip! Beautiful, scenic route with monkeys along the way. We were all inexperienced riders. Our guide Heiner was great, as well as the horses.

We had an awesome time horseback riding. Anthony was a great guide- he meet everyone at their riding experience levels and was close by at all times to check in. The sunset in the beach was incredible too! This was one of favorite experiences yet in Sámara.

What an incredible experience. Our guide was fantastic and really catered to the varying comfort levels in our group. He had my 8 year old - who had never really ridden a horse solo before - doing a light gallop down the beach at sunset. She could not stop laughing. He was also so kind with supporting other members of our group who simply wanted to walk and take it slow. This excursion really is for everyone. The horses are absolutely beautiful and so gentle. This was a remarkably special memory for our family.

This was a great horseback riding experience on the beach! Our guide was fun and friendly and encouraged us to push ourselves out of our comfort zone to galloping and it was well worth it! Great time and great experience!

We had a great time with Anthony as our guide. We went through the jungle to a beautiful overlook and saw monkeys. Also rode along the beach and got to gallop for a good part of it. Took a water break and we were treated to fresh pineapple. Anthony was informative and engaging, and we would definitely do this again.

Both our first time riding horses, but we felt safe and guided well the entire way. Our horses Coco & Marble were very gentle. The small group allowed our guide (sorry forgot his name) to go back and forth with the group to check on us, and was patient with riding slower as well. Thank you so much :)

Our horseback riding tour was an incredible experience! We were there as a family with our 5-year-old child and, as absolute beginners, we felt completely safe thanks to Martina’s patience and guidance. Her horses are well-trained, making the ride enjoyable for all of us. The route took us through mountains, across a river, and along a beautiful secluded beach. We were a group of six and even spotted monkeys along the way! A refreshing break with water and sweet pineapples made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a unique adventure in nature!

A very fun activity and a chance to see some beautiful beaches! Martine was great. She assessed the group’s riding experience well and gave lots of freedom to those with experience. A very well run tour. Horses were good and the combination of the view from the lookout point and the option to gallop along beautiful Burna Vista beach was a lovely combination.

Great experience riding horses through the Jungle and on the beach. Our guide Chris was friendly and very helpful. He made sure to point out monkeys and other native plantlife along the way. This was one of my favorite things we did in Costa Rica. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys riding horses!

We had an incredible time on this horseback riding tour! our guide was so lovely, and kind. And the horses were well behaved and perfect for riders of all levels. We especially enjoyed riding on the beach and the pit stop we made for fresh pineapple under the palm trees. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who’s interested in a horse back riding adventure near Samara.

I came with my two daughters and our riding experience surpassed all expectations. The ride through the rain forest allowed us to see monkeys feasting on mangos, hanging in the trees at their leisure. Then we went to the beach and were able to allow the horses to run as fast as we wanted. The fresh pineapple break was wonderful. I can’t recommend this adventure enough. We loved it!

All was great-Francisco our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The variety of scenery was a plus. Riding on the beach at the end was fun. Our only suggestion would be for riders AND guide to double and triple check that the saddles are secured. One of our experienced riders fell off while galloping on the beach because the girth or cinch was not (or came unbuckled) buckled.

We did this Horseback Riding tour a couple weeks ago while on vacation. It was the BEST experience. The family was very helpful, kind and funny. The horses were beautiful and well mannered. We highly recommend this Jungle/Mountain and Beach Horseback riding tour.

What a wonderful afternoon! My partner and I went on this tour during our 5-day stay in Sámara and it was just lovely. Our guide was very informative and the folks who joined us made the day that much more fun. The views from the top of the mountain were spectacular and the sunset gallop along the beach was just a dream! Highly recommend.
