Overview
Channel your inner fisherman for a deep sea fishing adventure in the waters off St Lucia. Relax aboard your charter boat, sip on soda and beer and get ready to wrangle your catch, which depending on the time of year may range from wahoo to Spanish mackerel. It doesn't matter if you're a casting novice or pro angler, all levels are welcome. You may even spot a whale or two. Round-trip transportation from local hotels is included.

Pick up from hotels in the North. An exact pick up time will be given prior to this excursion. Transfers included for parties of 4 or more people. Transfers not included for tours from the West Coast and South of the island but can be arranged.

What To Expect
Following pickup from your St Lucia hotel, transfer to a fishing boat for your deep sea fishing adventure.
Once on board, meet your experienced captain and make yourself familiar with all the provided equipment, including bait and tackle. Set out for the deep waters offshore and watch as the scenic coastline recedes.
Depending on the season and the day's conditions, your captain will choose just the right spot. Get as much or as little guidance as you like; this excursion is suitable for fishermen of all experience levels. Angle for snapper, cavali, Spanish mackerel, longbill spearfish, dorado, barracuda, kingfish, sailfish or blue and white marlin. June to August is a great time for billfish, February to April brings the added bonus of whale watching. November to February is prime season for tuna and dolphin fish and October to December is the best time to fish for wahoo.
After you've cast your line, sit back with a provided beer or soda and wait for the fish to bite.
Return to your hotel for drop-off after 4 hours of fishing.

This was such a fun excursion, please keep in mind this was the first time we went deep sea fishing so we really weren’t sure what to expect. The people at mystic man excelled. They kept us engaged and entertained and we caught 5 fish. They have 6 lines going at once to give a better probability of catching fish. These guys have been doing it for 15+ years so they know the island well and are great at spotting schools of fish. Just a really great job in general and would recommend this to anyone of any experience level.

Even though we did not catch anything it was not for try we covered miles
If a fisherman is reading this you will understand you don’t catch every time you fish

It would be nice to bottom fish instead of trolling the whole time. Fishing line was old so catching a large fish wouldn’t work without breaking the line.

The trip was booked including taxi to and from the hotel. The day before I got a phone call to say that the taxi would be needed to be paid to the driver. Not to miss the trip said I would pay. It wasn't what I expected. I do not think I will book anything else through Viator and I will go directly to the tour operator.
I also had an airport transfer to the hotel when I arrived that didn't live up to expectations. Think Viator must do better.

Well although nice boat and set up the captain ran 2 chart plotter electronics instead of using 1 set to find drop-off or locate schools of fish, second off they relied on all top water ballyhoo rigs didn't even drop ant planners down to different deeps to try and put any of us on fish , this was not my first time on a charter nor fishing as a boat owner myself and growing up on the water both fresh and salt e.i. Florida it's always good practice to use different techniques to locate fish of any kind to atleast keep it interesting and exciting for paying costumers but that's just my way of thinking although area is beautiful and all there could have been more effort in locating the fish and I've never been off shore and never not even 1 time not got a single bite or even a Cuda so my expectations for fishing the carribean for the first time was set way to high

It was a good value for the money. Captain and First Mate were knowledgeable about fishing and worked hard to provide an enjoyable trip. 5 of 7 of us caught mahi and we saw whales! The drinks were cold and we had a great time.

Everyone was very nice. Our driver Vincent was excellent. The crew were friendly. I do wish they would slow the boat down so you can actually fish but it was a fun experience

Viator puts on a great fishing experience. Brown, our first mate, tried everything in his arsenal to get us some fish. On this vacation, l also booked another fishing excursion with sunwing nexus tours and they turned out to be a horrible

It was okay, I wasn't thrilled with trolling, I figured deep sea fishing meant that the lines would be deep in the water. The bait was re-used and not fresh, no chance of catching anything. The only thing that maybe was good was that I got to take photos of the island from the boat. 2 hours of rocky waves made me a bit sick.
Unfortunately, it was raining and the 3 of us on the boat were soaked. I did catch a tuna though!
