Overview

Discover sea caves on the Adriatic Coast on a kayaking tour around the Kamenjak peninsula in Premantura, south of Pula. You'll paddle along the southern cape of Istria and into two caves, plus go snorkeling, admire several bays and beaches, and jump in the water from the cliffs, if you wish.

The Windsurf Station is located at Skoljic bay inside of Rt Kamenjak (car entrance fee 80HRK). When arriving in Premantura, follow the signs for Rt Kamenjak. Enter on the MAIN GATE to Kamenjak. After entering, follow the signs to Školjić beach or the Windsurf Station signs.

Perfect little adventure!

A morning of kayaking and swimming in a beautiful location, with stunning transparent water and dark caves. The guides were extremely helpful and friendly, not only giving us freedom when kayaking and swimming, but even providing restaurant recommendations and more! They brought along a great GoPro, encouraging us to dive and jump to get the best photos - and in the end they turned out spectacular. We were able to download them for free the next day! We went in September, which I'd recommend. The water may be cooler than in August, but there are far less people surrounding the caves, giving much better opportunities for photos and views. It's a pretty active experience, not for those terribly out of shape, and definitely for strong swimmers, however no previous kayak experience is necessary. Bring suncream and a hat!

Nice trip, everything was as described. Our guide was great, he was totally nice and explained and told us a lot. Not only did I have fun, but I also learned a lot about the area. Fully recommended, especially now that it is not quite so crowded.

Vooropgesteld het was een heerlijke dag en de begeleiding waren leuke gasten. Maar het was niet zoals verwacht. Het was kajakken over zee van ca 4 km. Dan kun je even de grot inzwemmen (vrij diep, voor kleine kids niet geschikt) en weer terug kajakken. Maar je gaat dus niet met kajak de grot in… en in hoogseizoen erg druk. Maar zonder de gids hadden wij de grot niet in gegaan en was toch wel gaaf om mee te maken….

Ondanks een kleine kink in de kabel, toch een hele fijne kajak belevenis gehad. Onze boeking verliep niet helemaal hoe het moest zijn, maar werd keurig opgelost door met een gids een privé tour te hebben. Het was heel fijn, relaxed de gids was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Heeft foto’s genomen ( die we nog moeten ontvangen) gaf goed adviezen hoe we de grot binnen moesten komen. Flesje water een banaan mee en na afloop heerlijk water meloen. Ondanks onze niet al te beste Engels elkaar prima verstaanbaar gemaakt.. aanrader voor wie er interesse in heeft.

Die Kajaktour hat uns super gefallen! Beeindruckende Klippen, Schnorcheln im glasklaren Wasser, Fotos als Andenken in der Höhle & unter Wasser sowie ein sehr netter und lustiger Guide, der eine gute Einweisung und interessante Informationen gegeben hat. Ausgiebige Tour, die nicht zu lang, aber auch nicht zu kurz oder hektisch war. Einzige Kritik: Die Organisation zu Beginn war etwas chaotisch: kurzfristige Treffpunktänderung per sms, zu wenig Neoprenanzüge und der Guide war nicht da als wir kamen. Doch der Rest klappte super, kann man also drüber hinweg sehen.

Niklas danke fur die tolle Bewertung , Wollte nur klaar machen warum der Anfang chaotisch war . Wegen den starken wind wir mussten den Strafpunkt ändern . In einer Stunde haben wir 12 kayaks mit der kompletter Ausrüstung von unserer station bis zu den neuen Strafpunkt gebracht und sind rechtzeitig gestartet mit der Tour. Ich musste bis zur unserer station fahren weil zwei Teilnehmer nicht die ganze Nachricht gelesen haben und sind zu fuss an der falsche stelle gekommen , sonnst konnten sie nicht rechtzeitig bis zu den neuen Startpunkt kommen. Der einzige der ohne Neopren war brauchte einen XXXL und waren keine mehr ( wir haben 3 der grosse aber den tag waren alle schon weg) , das Wasser war 23C man kann ganz gut auch ohne Neopren schwimmen aber wir geben den weil es angenehmer ist mit. Wenn wir starten won unserer station die organisations Probleme gibt es nicht . Freut mich das ihr trotzdem spass gehabt hat un so war es auch fur mich , ihr war echt eine tolle Gruppe. MfG Lovro

Leider enttäuscht

Also ich habe mir gerade die anderen Bewertungen durchgelesen und verstehe die Begeisterung nicht wirklich. Ich persönlich war enttäuscht. Die Guides sind nett aber eigentlich sind wir nur 20-30 min die Küste langgefahren, da wohl etwas mehr Wellengang an dem Tag war und welche leider auch nicht besonders schön ist. Dann sind wir ca. 15 min quer über die Insel zu einer Bucht gelaufen, um dort hineinzuspringen, in die Höhle zu tauchen und einer der Guides hat dann Fotos von allen gemacht. Danach ging es den selben Weg zurück. Wer erwartet, Höhlen vom Wasser aus mit dem Kajak mit gelegentlichem Badestopp zu erkunden, wird jedenfalls so wie ich enttäuscht.

I'm really sorry you are that disappointed . The trip you took part and described in this review was an exception do to the waves on one part of our kayak trip Because of a rough sea conditions we couldn't go to the cave location with the kayaks as it wouldn't be safe to stop there with the kayaks . The alternative we offered was to stop in the bay nearby and walk for 15 min to the cave. The second option we offered you was a full refund do to the impossibility to go with the kayaks to the cave as it is described on our internet site. The trip lasted 3 hours as usually and the snorkelling in the cave is exactly the same as we do in regular sea conditions. I'm sorry you didn't like the nature and landscapes in this area , we can show you what we have here but not everybody likes it. Thank you for your feedback . Best regrads

- El servicio de recogida no incluye la vuelta por lo que tienes que pagar un taxi para volver, nada barato (no tiene mucho sentido). Por un error no se hicieron las fotos, y no se nos compensó de ninguna forma. El guia no esperava a todo el grupo para realizar la explicación. + Excursión con bonitas vistas, grupo no muy numeroso, personal muy simpático, animado y con experiència. La excursión no es muy dura y resulta agradable.
