We had a wonderful experience on our firefly tour in Puerto Princesa. From the moment we booked, the company was incredibly easy to get in contact with and very responsive, answering all of our questions promptly, which made everything feel stress-free. The experience itself was magical and the food at the buffet was delicious. The price was very worth the experience we had. Our driver, Mark, was friendly and made the ride comfortable, and our guide, B Boy, truly made the tour special. He shared so much interesting information about the Philippines while keeping things light and fun with true Filipino humor. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend the evening with. We would have absolutely loved to do more tours with B Boy and highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Puerto Princesa.

I was lookingfor something to do that night and came across this. Not expecting much but it was an amazing trip! Lots of fireflies on the peaceful river, excellent knowledgable boatman and the buffet back at the launch point was delicious. Highly recommend

Good, not great

The fireflies were interesting but after about 5 minutes, I had seen enough. Some of the other guests were really amazed so I just might be easily bored 😁 The food was good and there was plenty of it. I have no complaints, it just wasn't a thrilling tour.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and kind. All the bioluminescence from the fireflies to the plankton was very cool. Dinner was great!

At first we didn't see any Kitu Kito ( fire flies) the the captain of the boat explain sometimes the flies are still. Then the captain sprinkled some water on the leaves and the flies gave us the most beautiful show Thank you so much for an excellent adventure

Not worth the drive and waiting around

Very disorganised tour. We were told we would be back at the hostel by 2130 but it ended up being 2320. The actual experience lasted about 30 minutes and was pleasant but not worth the wait. From the way the surroundings are decorated with so many lanterns and how much it was bigged up, we thought there would be a lot more fireflies. We were also told we would hold a firefly but then nothing came of that either. Positives - the tour guide was nice, restaurant was really pretty and the actual experience was okay. I feel that kids who have never seen fireflies would really enjoy it though as long as you get lucky with the timings. I feel that the expectations could have been laid out better and it shouldn't have been made out to be really amazing as it was only okay.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry for the experience you've had. On normal days, the tour would end at around 2130-2200. We will look into why you waited longer than usual to ensure that it doesn't happen again for future guests. Thank you
