Tour of Phu Quoc

The tour guide has not reviewed any sites we have visited. Minimal interaction. He was mainly a private driver. We have not learn anything about Phu Quoc.

Many of the attractions in this tour or very commercialized- much like Bana Hills in Da Nang. If that’s your style you will enjoy this tour. Ivan was very accommodating and really did his best to make sure we enjoyed our day. We had the best authentic Vietnamese food!! Thanks Ivan!!

Andy picked us up at 9am. Lovely new comfy car with great a/c…provided us with cold bottled water …he took us to various locations around Phu Quoc (Pearl factory, waterfall, gorgeous beach, cable car, kissing bridge etc.) he assisted us with any tickets that we needed. Very knowledgeable about local history. He cared for our every need - would 100% recommend. A lovely day - thank you Andy.

Great way to see the South of PhuQuoc

We had a private tour, just my partner and I. Our guide was lovely and the stops we made were great. The pearl farm and the silk factory were a bit too touristy for our liking. Cable car was a highlight, of course, it would have been nice to have a bit more time on the island though. Very interesting tour overall. Thank you!

Great tour of the south part of the island. We loved the pearl farm and relaxing on Sao beach. Most importantly, our driver Tan was excellent. He was super knowledgeable and flexible with the plan to fit our family needs and our kids attention spans! Would highly recommend!

Memorable tour around Phu Quoc south island

Lihn gave us an excellent tour around the south part of Phu Quoc. We visited some great places and the car was very comfortable and air conditioned. It was nice to have lots of drinking water included. Lihn was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the history of the island and the places we visited, and he was great company too.

Average day out

The Coconut prison is shocking and relevant, everyone should see it. The pagoda was beautiful, well worth seeing. The cable car is a good experience, but the Water world was half closed, which we weren't told about, and a huge hotel complex is being constructed next to it which detracts from the local beauty of the resort's beach. The Pearl factory and silk factory stops were equally mediocre - you got the feeling you were being whisked through to see how much you would then spend in the shop. The visit to the beach was for an hour, too little time to relax. All in all there is too little time on this tour to enjoy the individual components properly. The south of Phu Quoc is being overdeveloped so that there is little to see on the journey itself. There is plastic everywhere and the rubbish piles are a real distraction.

The best private tour guide on the island!

My tour was blah until I met Linh! That is because Phu Quoc is a bit hard to navigate. But, let me start from the beginning. First of all, this is a private tour tailored for you alone or for your group at a beyond reasonable price. So, you will be able to add places you want to see and remove those you are not interested in. This is what i did. Linh picked me up in his brand new car. The biggest selling point for me was his perfect english. After 4 weeks in Vietnam, getting a tour guide i could understand and even laugh with was a breath of fresh air. I ended up doing 4 tours with him -- south island, night food tour, day north shore tour which is NOT TO MISS ( STAR FISH BEACH), and nightlife shows tour and all of them were a blast! The cherry on top is Linh's photography skills! I got a professional photoshoot with the tour! See my pics! I am in love with my time in Phu Quoc. This would not be possible without Linh! Truly, the most knowledgeable and professional tour guide ever! Always there 5 minutes ahead of time! I just can't say enough praises. Linh, thank you for making my stay in Phu Quoc unforgettable! My grandkids will cherish your pictures forever! <3
