An amazing day with an amazing guide!

We had a wonderful day on the Peninsula Valdes! Our tour guide, Fabian was amazing! His knowledge of the wildlife and area were impressive. He listened to our interest and made sure we got to see what we wanted. And, most importantly, he is such a nice guy! Additionally, Carina was very communicative before and after the trip. She gave very specific and easy to follow directions on how and where to meet up and was overall helpful! We highly recommend Darwin Tours Patagonia!

Our tour guide Fabian was simply amazing and actually made the trip for us. The weather was awful that day and rained closed much of the area we were to see - only saw 2 penguins and the seals were from a distance. It was a 2 hour drive out there and back so lots of time in the car, would recommend other tours but with Fabian as your guide! He did send me a lot of pictures on WhatsApp so I could pretend we saw a lot!!

A waste of money due to poor guide

The guide we had was nice, but didn’t know much, and didn’t speak good English, so it was hard to understand. It was silent most of the drive unless the driver saw animals on the way. He spoke no English, but was amazing in finding the wildlife. We hit bad weather, and we’re not able to see everything. The guide was busy drinking her meta with the driver than explaining anything to us. It was definitely not worth the money we were charged.

Spectacular tour guide and plentiful wildlife

My husband and I booked a private tour for ourselves and our 2yo rambunctious son, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We love nature and wildlife, and my husband is a “birder” and photographer. Our tour guide, Sebastian, was perhaps one of the most impressive guides we’ve come across in our travels. His knowledge base when it came to the area and its wildlife was remarkable, and much to my husband’s delight, he was a birder too! Sebastian was able to spot birds and other wildlife that would’ve otherwise gone undetected by us, and gave us countless opportunities to take photos. We were also pleased with the fact that the company provided a child safety seat for our son, as well as a tasty box lunch and beverages. Oh, and one other thing - at one of the stops where we were able to see seals and penguins, there’s a little coffee shop that sells spectacular, massive alfajores! It’s a must-have sorta treat for lovers of dulce de leche.

Fabian was a above excellent guide his knowledge on all the various animals, birds, flora etc was superb. We saw penguins, sea lions and seals all in 6 hrs.Great day with a great guide.

Peninsula Valdes Full Day Shore Excursion

This was a great tour with a wonderful guide. We were so happy to NOT be on cruise shore excursion with a bus full of people. Our driver was so knowledgeable and friendly and on our way back to the port he gave us a tour of the town Port Madryn where our cruise ship was docked. We saw lots of penguins and elephant seals.
