Great fun in the little boat! We cruised all along the coasts of Paros and Antiparos. Beautiful scenery. The only catch was staying clear of the swimmers. There’s a narrow channel called Blue Lagoon that you must pass through and it was filled with boats and swimmers off the boats. It was a challenge but we made it through! We also wanted to see the caves close up but the entrances were blocked by boats letting off swimmers who were swimming just outside the caves. But the boat was still totally worth it - easy to operate and the water was clear, calm, and beautiful.

first of all - i would recommend this 1000x to anybody, it was very fun and unique. it was just 2 of us on the boat and i think that is the perfect amount of people. while extremely fun and beautiful, it had its scary moments.
they let anybody do this, it doesnt really matter if you have experience driving a motorboat and when we went it was quite windy so the water was "choppy" (bumpy if you are a passenger, my husband felt secure in the drivers seat). due to the wind, we were limited in where we could go - they pointed out what we could and could not do on the map - one of the things that would have been nice, but we couldnt do, was exploring antiparos. we stayed on the water for about 4 hrs which was sufficient going about half as far as we could before turning back.
we stopped/anchored 4 times, and got stuck 3 of those times (luckily we were able to get the anchor out from under the rocks). they were very responsive when we called the third time when we thought we'd have to untie the anchor and leave it in the water which was good, but they didnt really effectively warn against anchoring by the rocks, and we were trying to be safe by avoiding the shore so we anchored at 4 meters depth, but i think if you anchor at 3 meters you are more likely to hit sand and not have the stress of potentially being stuck.
then, some of the locations they mark on the map are beach clubs, they gave us the phone # to whatsapp/call someone from these places to pick us up in a water taxi - since you cant dock or get close to the shore. we were not successful reaching out to anyone - the number didn't work, no one answered calls or messages. we saw another boat from our same rental service anchored, those people swam to shore. so if you want to grab a bite/drink i recommend bringing a waterproof bag of some sort, noodles and/or a water tube because you're swimming.
I would definitely do again but its not without some scary moments!

We had a wonderful day on the water! Our tour operator was there to greet us and recommended places to see and stop at. The boat was well equipped with safety equipment and we always felt safe. If we had any questions we could text our tour operator. We made some great memories with our teenage grandchildren swimming and snorkeling too.

This was a fun way to see different areas of the island on your own. The boat was small and unstable. I would recommend not having anymore than 2-3 people on board.

De vrijheid, zelf kiezen waar je naar toe gaat en duidelijke uitleg met kaart waarop rotsen zijn en goede aanlegplaat zijn. Anker leggen is echt gemakkelijk

Die Erklärung für das Boot würde auf Englisch durchgeführt. Man könnte alles gut verstehen.
