- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
- Dry season warning (September, October, Mid -November): less water at the waterfall and presence of many horseflies
- Rainy season warning (April, May, June, July): flooding of a creek along side the road to the mountain inhibits the bus to reach the plateau. If this happens an alternative program will carried out: a stop at the Brokopondo dam, a visit to a marroon village, swimming at Colakreek
- A minimum of 2 people is required for the tour to have guaranteed departure

The tour guide had such a passion for his work, his conservation and the knowledge of culture, nature and history. Stella was amazing and made the whole tour a great experience. Downside was the transportation in an older small van with no AC, uncomfortable seats for 3 hours each way on some really rough roads. You definitely get to know your fellow passengers well by the end lol overall part of the travel experience.

Amazing trip! Tons of hiking and nature in Brownsweg - be prepared for all day and wear good shoes. Fantastic guides! Great local breakfast and bathroom stops were included.

The tour guide is nice. He is Native American Indian. The road in Amazon is very slippery. Our guide tour took care of us the whole time.
