This is great for young and old! But be prepared to paddle longer than you think you are going to. Time slows way down when kayaking or paddleboarding! Savanah and Maya were the greatest and spoiled us so well! Lunch at the springs was great, the seado skooters were a blast. The minute I did this into the spring, I was so happy I did! No regrets! Beautiful!

It’s total relaxation on...

SIRIPRAWN_A, Oct 2025
It’s total relaxation on the kayak while you glide over the most beautifully clear water you’ll ever see . Final destination refreshing spring where you can swim , snorkel or jump in on the rope swing .Chairs , towels and lunch provided .

Save your money and do this one on your own.

Our guides were courteous. This is over priced by $50 to $75 per person. Kayak about 30 minutes total; snorkel, swim and rope or jump into water the rest of the time. The self propelled snorkel equipment not best option for this environment, so we didn’t use it. They did sit up chairs and had towels, protective phone holders, sunscreen, water and Gatorade. Equipment was well used but worked. Picnic is a dry 6” sub from Publix. Cypress Springs is in poor condition both in and out of the water, dangers lurk. Fallen trees and branches. The water is fresh spring water and crystal clean, so cold not much to look at in the water. The banks of the Springs is not easy to navigate and gets over crowded. One bank has a huge culvert then extends a makeshift wall to hold water runoff from the Springs water. The rest has tree roots with some sand areas. A sandy trail through over grown weeds. Port-a-potties and trash binds down a driving trail 1/2 block away. People kayak, paddle board and boat through the center of the Springs while people are jumping in and snorkeling. Because of the people jumping in you do not get to explore the core of the Springs. Watch out for yourself. I think you can get there on your own and spend a lot less for the adventure. Go to Vernon and rent the equipment yourself.

A must-do!

Amazing trip

Renee_O, Jun 2025
Cody was our guide and did an exceptional job. He was personable, kind, knowledgeable, and provided insightful information about the spring and surrounding environment. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations and was well worth both our time and investment. The water, while cold, was incredibly refreshing in the Florida heat. The company thoughtfully provides bug spray, sunscreen, chairs, and towels, which added to the comfort and convenience of the trip. With approximately 2.5 hours spent at the spring, there was plenty to enjoy—including a rope swing and other water activities. All necessary gear was provided, and everything was well-organized. The meeting location was easy to find, set at a Publix parking lot where guests leave their vehicles and ride in a comfortable, air-conditioned van to the site. Cody even curated a fantastic playlist that everyone enjoyed during the drive. Another highlight was that photos were taken throughout the trip and made available online afterward, eliminating the need to worry about capturing the perfect moment yourself. The only drawback was the condition of some of the equipment. For instance, the back of my son’s chair broke as soon as he sat down. However, Cody responded quickly, offering a temporary fix that allowed my son to continue enjoying the trip. Still, it would be beneficial for the owner to consider updating the equipment. Despite this, we highly recommend this tour—especially with Cody as your guide. You won’t be disappointed.

Breathtaking

Nathan_G, Oct 2024
Our guide taylor was amazing!!! The springs were absolutely beautiful and not too cold mid october. Daughter had a blast the entire time, especially with the underwater scooters. We caught a turtle and saw plenty of fish and the sub sandwiches were amazing, highly recommend, can't wait for next year.

Beautiful

Jamie_B, Sep 2024
Very picturesque!! The whole team was extremely sweet and accommodating!! Taylor our guide was excellent and it was by far our best experience in Destin. I don’t think another tour company would’ve took such great care of us. They literally brought everything we could need

Nice relaxing day

Tim_C, Aug 2024
Beautiful spring. Crystal clear water. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent sub sandwiches. They provided chairs and towels and snorkel gear.

Great tour!

Daniel_L, Jul 2024
Taylor and Leslie were great! The spring was beautiful! We had a great time! Our kids loved the underwater scooters and snorkeling gear.

Worth it.

Valerie_W, Jul 2024
Tour guides very friendly and hard working. Creek to spring dark and murky, looks there would be alligators and snakes but I didn't see any, we were terrified to fall into the creek though. The spring is beautiful but temp is in the 60s. I am in my 40s, not active and struggled a little bit on the way back upstream on a paddleboard, my sister had my 65 year old mother in a tandem kayak and she had a horrible time back upstream and feels the description should include moderate athletic ability required.but overall we loved it, kids loved it, everything from chairs, lunch , towels, sunblock provided. My 14 year old loved the underwater scooter snorkeling jets. Worth the $$.

Good trip to the spring...

Angie_S, Jun 2024
Good trip to the spring with a good guide. The trip was a little disorganized and equipment not in the greatest of shape.

Memorable family day!

Leah_W, Jun 2024
Cypress springs was beautiful and having everything planned for you made the day stress free. We saw a baby gator on the kayak trip back which was really cool. We also saw a snake, lots of turtles, and a cool water bird.

Beautiful water!

Melissa_J, Jun 2024
Awesome trip! We were hesitant because as we started it was raining, but by the time we arrived to the springs, the weather cleared! Anthony was our guide and he was terrific! Such a great young man, really engaged with everyone, made sure that everyone was having a great time. Water was so crystal clear and beautiful! It’s cold, yes, but well worth it to get in to snorkel. . Would absolutely do it again!

Excellent! Perfect family activity

JD_S, Jun 2024
This was well worth it! It took a good part of the day and kept my 13 and 18 year old boys entertained! Lunch was great, they provided water, sunscreen, beach chair, clean towel. All you needed was your sunglasses and a hat. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My kids loved the underwater scooters and the snorkeling gear. I would definitely do this again!

Took Good Care of Their Novices~

ljmarenco, Apr 2024
My husband and I don't kayak, so our very first adventure into this sport. Excellent support by the guide, Jamie, and fellow kayakers. BEAUTIFUL scenery, enjoyable spending time in the water just swimming, snorkeling and hanging out. That day was more crowded than most, (Saturday), so suggest a weekday.

Tour cancelled/ No refund

Jenny_M, Apr 2024
I booked this tour for 3/13/2024. I received a call on 3/11/2024 starting that it had rained really hard and the springs were flooded which made the water really murky and asked if Instill wanted to go, move to another date and/or location or if I wanted a refund. I requested refund due to our travel dates. I have made contact multiple times with tour company and been told the refund was issued but I have not received it yet after multiple attempts. Filing with the CC company now and will not use this company when we come back to PCB.

Dissapointed

Julie_F, Apr 2024
The description of this tour is very deceiving. You will not be kayaking the entire time. We kayaked to a very small spring that took less than 15 minutes, and the rest of the 5 hours we were expected to swim around this tiny area. We were beyond bored. My husband asked if we could take the kayaks out and paddle around and was denied.

I really love this...

Yudea_K, Mar 2024
I really love this experience. the tour guide was fun and friendly. I definitely will recommend this trip to my other friends!!

Excellent time, excellent staff!

Jason_T, Mar 2024
Guide staff was great! Very helpful and engaging. The cypress springs is definitely a very beautiful experience to add to your family’s list of things to do!

Fun family activity!

Allison_K, Mar 2024
We loved this adventure. It was fun to mix the kayaking with the time at the springs. We all loved the snorkeling, especially with the water scooters! We got in the car to head back to our hotel. My 12- and 17-year-olds both agreed this was their favorite adventure on this trip!

Special day!

Carol_G, Mar 2024
Swimming over the cave, seeing the fish, seeing the springs and using the scooter! This was a unique experience!

Awesome Experience

The cold springs is a really cool place to see. Kids enjoyed it - was very family friendly My son really enjoyed the rope swing

BOOK IT

Lauren_P, Dec 2023
Absolutely amazing trip the spring was cold but BEAUTIFUL...underwater scootering should be on your bucket list bc it was incredible even swam in a school of fishes....swing on a rope swing and the guide built a fire and was very personable...overall one of the best things I've ever done in my life such a unquie experience.

Nice scenery. Relaxing paddle.

Scherel_F, Nov 2023
It was a nice trip. It would have been better if we had known up front that we would be kayaking to the spring, snorkeling there, eating there and needing to carry everything we wanted to take with us on the kayak. We didn't know it would be helpful to have a dry bag. The creek and the spring had a lot of fallen trees that had to be navigated around. I'm surprised that no one cleared them. The outfitter had chairs, towels and even battery operated under water scooters. The water at the springs is 68 degrees year round. There was a rope swing. It was nice with only a few groups of people there this time of year. I would think it would be way too crowded to enjoy in the summer.
